do you want people to cover him in whipped cream and put cherries on top ?? Just using the word 'underrated' is a silly insult toward him , or virtually anyone anymore .
He does look well for a 68 year old (soon to be 69) rocker. Re: getting old, you will never again be as young as you are today. But yeah, we're all gonna die.
Isn't this small, intimate kind of concert wonderful??!! You get to see the musicians "up-close" and understand just talented they are and the hard work they have to put in to "make it all happen. "
Incredible Performance. Billy Idol is bonafide rockstar with an incredible voice. Steve Stevens is jewel of guitarist. The entire band is tight as a rain.
What an amazing treat; seeing an old rock God at the top of their game still, even after 45 years! Just an iconic rock legend still rocking our stocks off! Oh - Billy is pretty cool too…! 😉
I'm so jealous of everyone in that audience. Thank you for filming this! Great sound and backdrop. Billy Idol and Steve Stevens are legends. Lots of luv from Australia!
Sounded great, I didn't care for this tune back when it came out but here it sounded awesome, Billy's voice was great and Steves playing was really good and his guitar tone(s) were awesome.
BADASS BFI. Billy got me through my tough high school years, he will always be my fave. I saw him when I 16 & 17 years old . He was the sexiest man alive and the coolest. Love HIM.

Steve's nickname is "FINGERS". A nickname his guitar peers have tagged him with. A Grammy winning guitarist for the 80's "Top Gun" movie. Fate often decides/impacts the trajectory of our lives in so many contexts. I say this with respect to the meeting and amazingly brilliant chemistry and actual iconic songs both Steve + William Broad [Billy Idol] have collaborated with + created. When a young former London punk who was the lead singer of a band called "Generation X" made the decision to 'jump over the pond' in the early 1980's he met an also very young guitarist 'Steve Stevens'. The rest is history. The chemistry between the two has seen over 40 years of collaboration - with Steve + Billy creating some of the most iconic songs which have, and remain, as relevant today as they were 40+ years ago. Steve's 'flamenco' soloing is just beautiful - his use of his 'ray gun' another identifiable example where Steve has pushed boundaries - creating amazing effects. Although in the 80's Steve, like so many LA guitarists used 'Super hot rodded Strats' - he has always been a Les Paul slinger - his collaboration and signature line of KNAGGS guitars arguably a similar example such as Phil Collen, who around 1985/6 collaborated with luthier Grover Jackson who signed Collen to a fledging "Jackson Guitars". Steve did the same thing when he hooked up with Joe Knaggs [Knaggs Guitars], being the 'big get' in terms of signing a universally respected guitarist such as Steve to produce the 'Steve Stevens Signature' line of guitars - which are 'not' cheap - however imo they make stunning guitars. There was a time - and I cannot recall 'where' it was - but Van Halen and Billy Idol were on a ticket and during his soundcheck Steve noticed an EVH "Peavey" on the stage. Steve took the opportunity to plug this guitar in and started noodling. Word of this got back to Eddie - long story short Steve was at home and one day a huge truck pulled up at Steve's house - inside were a range of EVH guitars, 5150/amps/pedals. This was a gift from the great man - some things you just stumble across and I will always remember reading this story - a story of amazing generosity from a very humble Eddie. Some times, and it does depend on the set list - Steve will play his caramel EVH guitar. But for me it's a beautiful story in and of itself - and how music unites people. I have seen Steve play live once - and this was before Billy Morrison joined the band - and I 'hope' Billy Idol tours my way again - because for me watching "FINGERS" play is so special.
Wow. He’s still active. Remembered this song. Happen to come across this uploaded just a few weeks ago. Especially because I love the Below The Belt mix.
Billy is holding up well. I know many know but he was is a really bad Motorcycle Accident and had to be a Cartoon practically... Rock The Cradle of Love...

His age hasn't changed his stage presence or his voice.
Never thought it possible, but his voice has gotten better
Steve Stevens is so underrated and don't get the props he truly deserves . They still sound awesome !
I have always said Steve Steven's is underrated but all us BFI lovers know otherwise.
Plus he's so loww key. And a very nice guy.

Steve Stevens would have to get a kick out of that natural reverb when he opens with that riff !
