The court most likely didn't have enough evidence to convict. Confession is only a single part of a solid conviction. Evidence is needed to support a confession. Barb is the only witness and she most likely would not be considered mentally fit. But also due to the law in Virginia it's a crime to commit incest so if something did happen Barb might not want too testify because she could incriminate herself. Other then Barbs testimony who knows if evidence could be collected with a rape kit depending on when the incident could have happened. I personally think Chris did it let's not forget he confessed to it then prayed for Barbs death to make it all go away.

It's also worth pointing out that just because the case was dismissed, it doesn't mean he didn't do it. Considering he spent two years roughly locked up and the charges against him were never changed, he likely did do it. That entire line of reasoning is the "Argument From" Fallacy. It's the fallacy that because the argument to a conclusion is fake, therefore the entire conclusion it's self is fake. A famous example may be O.J and the Black Leather Glove. The defense tried to argue that because the Glove didn't fit, he didn't commit the crime. Chris is arguing that because the Case was Dismissed, he clearly didn't do anything. However, the roughly two years in county lock-up state otherwise.
Pretty sure they filed a motion for deferred disposition that ends in the charges getting dismissed if you comply with some requirements. I don't know why the case ultimately got dismissed because I don't know how far that request went, no one except the court knows, but dismissed charges aren't an acquittal, usually an acknowledgement that there isn't enough good unbiased evidence to lead to a conviction or that there are some weird circumstances going on (in abundance with Chris's situation).

If you watch the documentary made by GenoSamuel, its clear that his mental state has been deteriorating ever since his father died, and it looks like he's only gotten worse. As far as I'm aware the court didnt find him innocent. They dissmissed it due to a lack of evidence and since he already served the time he was released. And feel free yo correct me if im wrong but if more evidence does come to light then chris can be rearrested and the case can be reopened but as of now hes currently on probation.

The court most likely didn't have enough evidence to convict. Confession is only a single part of a solid conviction. Evidence is needed to support a confession. Barb is the only witness and she most likely would not be considered mentally fit. But also due to the law in Virginia it's a crime to commit incest so if something did happen Barb might not want too testify because she could incriminate herself. Other then Barbs testimony who knows if evidence could be collected with a rape kit depending on when the incident could have happened. I personally think Chris did it let's not forget he confessed to it then prayed for Barbs death to make it all go away.

It's also worth pointing out that just because the case was dismissed, it doesn't mean he didn't do it. Considering he spent two years roughly locked up and the charges against him were never changed, he likely did do it. That entire line of reasoning is the "Argument From" Fallacy. It's the fallacy that because the argument to a conclusion is fake, therefore the entire conclusion it's self is fake. A famous example may be O.J and the Black Leather Glove. The defense tried to argue that because the Glove didn't fit, he didn't commit the crime. Chris is arguing that because the Case was Dismissed, he clearly didn't do anything. However, the roughly two years in county lock-up state otherwise.
Pretty sure they filed a motion for deferred disposition that ends in the charges getting dismissed if you comply with some requirements. I don't know why the case ultimately got dismissed because I don't know how far that request went, no one except the court knows, but dismissed charges aren't an acquittal, usually an acknowledgement that there isn't enough good unbiased evidence to lead to a conviction or that there are some weird circumstances going on (in abundance with Chris's situation).

In case anyone can't tell, Chris is a shell of a human being. If you watch the documentary made by GenoSamuel, its clear that his mental state has been deteriorating ever since his father died, and it looks like he's only gotten worse. It's hard to fully express just how badly Chris has lost his grip on reality, because it would take too long to cover all of it, but I'm guessing the stuff he says in this video alone speaks for itself. This is a more harrowing story about a mentally ill person being failed by the system than Joker.
The system hasn't failed him. It appears that he has been offered ample support, and he even receives his small 'tug boat' each month. Sometimes, regardless of how hard you try, you simply can't assist someone. Chris is a prime example of this.
His condition is deteriorating; he is regressing. He's like a grown man behaving like a baby. I don't find him amusing anymore. He's just offensive and difficult to watch.

Fun Christory fact the reason chris called Barb a snorlax is because of a famous (infamous?) picture he took of her sleeping that was posted on 4chan that the trolls decided resembled a snorlax.
I think the charges were dropped because of how many continuances were granted, plus the pandemic, and the fact that Barb was not pressing the charges herself and is likely not even capable of accusing anyone of anything.

As far as I'm aware the court didnt find him innocent. They dissmissed it due to a lack of evidence and since he already served the time he was released. And feel free yo correct me if im wrong but if more evidence does come to light then chris can be rearrested and the case can be reopened but as of now hes currently on probation.
From what I understand, If a case gets dismissed then that’s it. He cannot be charged with it again due to the 5th amendments double jeopardy clause. I’m pretty sure that’s how that works at least

More than likely the reason the charges were dropped were because what it boils down to is the only person who could actually corroborate the crime, is another person who's mind is gone. Barbara at best has dementia. And taking anything she says at face value would be absolutely torn apart in court but his public defender. It would be akin to a 5 year old's story against another 5 year old's story. Neither could be reliable witnessess, therefore the trial would unfortunately be a total easte of time.
