This is the first zsculpt I've watched in a while where I was actually taking notes. I especially like how you formed your eyes. I've always struggled with getting that thick layer of skin above the upper eyelid, and your method makes it look effortless. Thanks for sharing.
It is always very helpful to see your process, never realized how much of an organic process you can still achieve with digital sculpting until I watched your videos. Thanks for being very good at it and having fresh perspectives to view.
I really appreciate seeing your process of finding horns you like. It makes me feel better as a beginning 3D artist knowing amazing people like you are still human

Great work, as always! I feel like every time you post a new work, you've improved from the last one! I definitely would like to see how you rendered that and got the subsurface scattering on the ear.
Thanks Aquiel! I'm thinking about doing a sculpting tutorial for ears since the model is crucial for a proper SSS effect and then a breakdown video how I set up my render scene in maya
i cant get this level of awesomeness yet on zbrush... i dont even know this much about anatomy. but i just wanted to let you know this was such an inspiration to be better and of course learn and practice a lot.
I tried to do an anatomy study while watching this and it came out pretty good. I learned a lot simply from watching this . btw , I didn't understand how you created the ear, I'm familiar with edge looping but the part where you extruded was a little bit too fast even when I tried slowing the video down. would appreciate a quick vid about that (if possible). thanks for uploading this ♥
Thanks a lot! I'm thinking about doing a tutorial for the ears first since it's important to have a proper geometry to have a good SSS effect. Then I would do a video about how I set up the clay render in maya with arnold
I hope the keys you were pressing were also on screen cuz i'm a beginner but damn this is really great! I need to practice a lot to be like this! Hands down to you sir! 💪
Please for the love of whatever deity or idea you find dear, consider doing a paid tutorial on whatever platform you wish, your ecorche approach is extremely structured even when watched as a speedsculpt. At least please consider it. Thank you and kudos on your quality work.
Hey - Awesome awesome sculpt; absolutely loved the process you used and I've learnt a bunch watching a few times. Got a quick question if you'll indulge me - when you were extruding the inside of the ear, how did you create the mask that protected the outside of the ear? I've been trying to figure it out but I'm getting nowhere haha. (I'm pretty new to zbrush, so most of what you did there was like black magic to me.) The part I'm referring to is at around 5:20. Thanks in advance! And thanks for sharing!
Hey, thanks a lot! It's an option called backfaceMask that you can find in the brush menu under AutoMasking. I always turn it on when I sculpt on thin meshes
@@FynnGB For sculpting. I asked on zbrushforums and they say that its wax material settings that need to adjust and then turn render preview On in render settings. It gave some similar effect but not so nice looking. I mean that warm shadow effect and it seems also that the sculpting material is a little transparent or something like that )
@@mordecai1484 I like to start with the default project 'DynaWax128' that comes with a nice material. I then turn down the wax modifier down to around 20-30 to get the result that you can see in the video Hope it helps
I understood every bit of anatomy and sculpting techniques used in this video.
Except for the part where it stopped being a sphere.
Dude saaaaaaaame
Bro can you tell which configuration computer should we take for smoothy run zbrush

Nice process! I like how you constructed face from a skull.
Ye he flexed on us so hard xD
@@i7ami @iTamiCS Isn't that how a lot of artists construct faces? They use skeletons as foundation and a guide
q q yea but not in such a detailed way. Maybe some basic construction lines

2 Hours?? SERIOUSLY?? Like TWO f’ing hours?!
It takes me a day to draw like a circle, gosh!
You’re a real pro!!
Your brush strokes are really satisfying
Man the proficiency of the artist in anatomy and how a human head is shaped scares me
I don't even know how I got here, but I actually enjoyed every bit of the video! Got a sub! :D
Came for the head, stayed for the ear! Fascinating process!
Even though it was a lot, its exactly what i was looking for with such great brief explanations. Thanks bruv
