Hydro Station is awesome. Only thing they need to fix (if they can even do this) is the spawn logic. Two main examples: 1) If playing solo and some enemies don’t get engaged fast enough they spawn on the island across from you and are basically unreachable. Makes it frustrating especially when it’s an invisible elite lol. 2) All the enemies seem to just clump up in one of the rooms and don’t really chase after you. Not sure that’s the map makers fault, but it’s still worth pointing out.
Yeah its just a sick map. This may sound insane, can you do reverse firefight style fights? As in, covenant allies and unsc enemies? Id love to see custom invasion style modes using that.
From what some of our Forge creators over in the Discord have been saying, it DOES seem very possible! Imagine an INVASION themed firefight! I mean we CAN make AI friendly, and we CAN have hostile marines! So we probably could!
I just did some research and for certain I think its doable people just gotta keep goin at it. I am watching lots of scripting tutorials. I was always a massive Covenant fangirl growing up. I was in a Covenant clan since the early days of halo 3 and had all elite armor unlocked from achievements. I stopped playing when they stopped putting elites as playable/after reach. I replayed the arbiter halo 2 missions hundreds of times when I was little. I adore the covenant/the elites a lot. I want to maybe try to recapture some of that feeling of being a member of the covenant, potentially like making missions based on a covenant perspective to certain events in halo's history. Id try to interlock events (sorta) and expand the perspective. Imagine New Mombasa from halo 2 except you're a covenant elite, phantom dropped in with a squad or two, and you are tasked with suppressing UNSC forces in Chiefs wake, etc.... Forge AI is epic, im looking forward to maybe even flood in the future or mcc assets.@@SpartanPhazed
I played that Ark map and it was so fun! Although I wish it expanded more into like that giant field with the Scarab part, the landing zone already is pretty recognizable! Funny Spongebob map lol
343 or Forge? Its a good mix of both from the community itself. But for firefight, i know that most of the main maps being shipped will just be from actual multiplayer maps that have been edited. (excluding Hall of Ascention) But yeah. I think multiple spots that fit with Halo's world is the best choice in that Scenario.

I gotcha man. Create a custom game, pick a map, goto search, on the rightside you will see "keywords" type the map name there. Do the same for the gamemode. You can also always just use Halowaypoint.com (dont worry its safe, its by 343) sign into your xbox account, and bookmark the map and gamemodes from my links, and they will be in your bookmarks in game!
Youll be surprised to know that multiple Forge creators over in our Discord have plotted on how it could work! AND we think it could be VERY possible! Really hoping to see it one day!
I get really disappointed when the AI are too strong and it's just terribly unbalanced when you step into a match so the difficulty adjustment thing is very helpful

Yep! Some maps are just SUPER hard. So atleast we can adjust everything ourselfs such as adding more shields or knocking down Enemy difficulty.
