Neil Gaiman's American Gods and its sequel have been adapted for radio relatively recently by Dirk Maggs - however, this BBC World Service adaptation of the second book appeared many years earlier. I dare say the more recent version is better, not least for having more than an hour in which to tell the story, but this is still an entertaining listen. As it happens Lenny Henry played the lead in both radio adaptations, but this one also benefits from the presence of Matt Lucas...

The moment I read this book, I just knew it was about the big guy himself,Lenny Henry.
I had no idea it was made into a radio show.

Glad you liked it. You would probably enjoy the later version in which Lenny Henry also stars - I won't be uploading that (or American Gods) here though, as they're still very much commercially available.
