Lyrics are huge part of Mokomas music and if you don't understand the language you are missing something. Of course lyrics are big part in all the music that contains them, but I might say that in Mokomas case they are bigger than usual. Great music still, even if you don't understand Finnish.

This, one of the few metal bands where the lyrics > music

They usually have one slow song per album. Check Hei hei Heinäkuu for example. You get really good vibes from the music video as well!

Theres two iconic bands in Finland and those are Mokoma an Stam1na. They are totally different from Korpiklaani or Finntrol coz its totally different style. This song is in my top 3 of Finnish metal songs, it just kicks.

Ok "his eyes rolled back" is definitely clickbait, but I'm hearing this, so good cause! These guys are awesome. Ok Finland. Finnish is way unique so that makes sense. I really like the old school vibe. Great reaction!

Yes, Mokoma is one of the bands along with Korpiklaani, Moonsorrow, Stam1na, Ajattara, Finntroll and some others who have managed to gain foothold outside Finland, even when there is a language barrier.
I can throw in couple of finnish bands that are matured enough to be musically successfull outside Finland, despite them singing in finnish language.
Stam1na - Kannoin Sinut Läpi Hiljaisen Huoneen th-cam.com/video/zz4HC3dGyXQ/w-d-xo.html
    Vorna - Sateet th-cam.com/video/J5BEcRsw-2U/w-d-xo.html
Both are quite proggy bands so you never know what to expect, but these songs are a good introduction.

@@BaldHeadedMETAL Check out the Mokoma @ Loudpark - Takatalvi, 2013 Tokyo.
Stam1na has been touring in Japan too. They sing also in finnish.
Japanese promoter like them in Tuska festival and ask them to come in Japan. Check out Tuska Anniversary Song. You see alot of familiar faces 😁

@@simmysims9209 also the japanese audience can easily get on board with the pronounciation of the finnish chorus structure: consonant vocal consonant -> takatatatakalvi, it's really easy for them to chant, stupid reason maybe, but it works
