@@eveitsnotthatserious1677 You're a true a magician ma'am, my mom says all the time she has to find everything because no one here knows how to look for something 😆
I’m so glad I found this channel! Little by little, I’ll understand more and more Spanish. This channel is both entertaining and educational for me! Much love for you all! 🥰
No hate but why are people okay with saying some of these things to their kids? Like the “le voy a decir a ese señor que te lleve” Phrases like that just makes them fearful. And yeah at the end of the day they might behave but wouldn’t people rather practice gentle parenting instead of giving their kids something to be fearful about?
I know this comment is old but it’s true! Ever since becoming a mom I am amazing at finding things. 🤷🏻♀️ It’s pretty crazy. My husband will look and look for something and tell me it’s not there and then I just walk up and find it and hand it to him. It’s kind of comical actually. Honestly though it’s because I have a pretty good idea where everything is because I keep the house.
2:48 always happens to me, it's not our fault we actually try and search and try as hard as we can, and we just can't, but somehow when moms search, it just appears
I can't wait to have kids! Today I got new sandals, when I took them out of the package the first though I had was "These are good to hit somebody" 😹👻😎🇲🇽

@@lr_laura there are two tales of la Llorona. One is a tragic love story. But the scary one tells the story of a woman that apparently was dumped by her man and she decided to kill her 3 children, she drowned one, threw the other off a cliff and I can’t remember what happened to the last one. Then she kills herself and roams as an unrested grieving evil spirit crying and moaning “Ay mis hijos!!” cause apparently she did regret doing so. Sometimes on a very windy day, you can hear the wind crying, almost howling. My grandma would tell me it’s La Llorona looking for her children and if I misbehave she will take me. Nice isn’t it? 😖
"Le voy a decir a ese señor que te lleve" i love that one. I don't know if anyone else can relate but I was also scared of another character: "El Tlacuache" (the possum) from a mexican song written by "Cri Cri" because he was going to take me and sell me if I didn't behave.

Hi I was just curious what others thought this proverb meant. I am not a Spanish speaker but I want to learn one day. What does “haz el bien y no mires a quien” mean.
It means that you should always do good things for others selflessly. There are times when people just do good things to get approval or because they want the favor returned. Sorry for my bad English, I hope to help you 💕
i don't know if my mom told me anything else but she would tell me if i didn't sleep or listen, the coco would come and eat me and she sang this song, it goes like "duermate niña duermate ya, si no viene el coco y te comera" , for those that don't speak spanish it means sleep now or else the coco is gonna come and eat you. and after she sang it she would whistle cause that's the sound el coco makes when he's near. if you ever watched novelas there's this show called "lo que la gente cuenta" it's probably not airing anymore but theres an episode of the coco there and i recently rewatched it and it's really creepy. now for me i do believe that the coco is real, just cause I've experienced it. one day I didn't wanna go to sleep so I didn't, then all of a sudden I heard a whistle and the coco whistles in a certain way and tune and the whistle was in that certain way so I got hella freaked out- it wasn't my mom cause she was at work and my older brother was asleep, after hearing the whistle I quickly ran towards my bed and went to sleep. y'all can believe in the coco or not but I do after all that lol
Have you heard these sayings? 😅

Black moms and Mexican moms have the same exact phrase:
*Y'all gon miss me when im dead*
Because it's true. Moms aren't forever.
Middle eastern moms are the same as well 😂 almost all the phrases have equivalents in my language
My mom didn’t have chanclas. She had “the look” and we all knew what was waiting for us.
So true, moms aren't here forever. GO HUG YOUR MOM N TELL HER THAT YOU LOVE HER.....some of us can't do that anymore 😥.
That is true. I am only 45 but I almost passed away when I was 43 due to a stroke and a brain tumor removal surgery. Still can't walk without a walker

Lol

same XD
My mom is a Spanish teacher and always told us not to mix the 2 languages. You either speak one or the other.
