This is my last GTA San Andreas Myth Video. With this video I intent to close the San Andreas Myths and Legends chapter for this channel.

The TV Ghost myth glitch conclusion is actually really scary. Imagine sitting in the Johnson's house and seeing an NPC randomly spawn in the corner and then immediately despawn, all in the span of a second.

Im glad you mentioned CJ's mom's ghost because I tried looking it up a while back and couldn't find ANYTHING about it. What's crazier is me and my sister both remember testing it and actually seeing the ghost. Perhaps we both just misremember what happened, due to us being young and it being so long ago.
Well even if its not true, the myth is still kinda creepy, especially in the right circumstances while playing.
Or maybe the myths were true and removed in the newer versions....
There is a very obscure glitch that npcs will be able to follow you into interiors but I can’t replicate it. I suppose it is possible for them to also spawn in, maybe if you corrupt your map data to change ped info.

I still remember DaviDustin's channel introducted me to GTA SA myth hunting. The best myth hunter out there in my opinion.
One of the myths that intrigued me was one about Toreno spying on CJ, there's a possibility it's real but not in the way, there was a video of what looked like Toreno with a camera spying on Carl Johnson in the woods, and in the mission where you meet toreno talking out of a speaker in the desert, he says, 'I will always be watching or listening or both'
It isn’t a myth if it’s true. Toreno literally tells you he’s watching you. People, me, you probably get watched everyday. Some people might have an agent no less than 150 feet away from them at all times.

@@Ashw1115I think the myth is more about having an NPC with the skin of Toreno IN GAME stalking you, than the fact that he says he's watching you in lore.

The CJ Mom Ghost and TV Ghost myth made me scared to go in the Johnson House. Even now as an adult, the atmoshphere is quite unsettling. And Smoke's Crack Palace has an unsettling atmosphere too if you go there after the mission.
Yeah the atmosphere when we inside the house just so quiet and unsettling
I always feel like GTA San Andreas has this odd sense of liminality, these 3d era GTA interiors can look creepy as hell sometimes
When I was a little kid 6-9 I was terrified of 3 places. CJ's Moms safe house. Back O Beyond (and any deep forrests) and Big Smokes Crack Den all because of the myths. That's the most potent nostalgia I've consumed In a really long time.

same i loved davidustin, darkmythhunter and cfox360 back in the day. But my go to was usually darkmythhunter because he seemed the most legit, had a frequent upload schedule and the atmosphere he created in his videos with his music choices really scared me especially that one shady creek creature video with a baby crying in the background and CJ looking for 'something' in a stormy night in the forests.

@@TheNightTyrant I agree, i hope GTA 6 will have a forest area with new 'creature' myths. I don't want them to take the GTA V route where they turn an iconic creepy myth into a goofy joke. GTA 5's Bigfoot was just a man in a suit the whole time who was sexually aroused by being a beast which was funny but disappointing imo. It would have been cooler if bigfoot ran around the forests at night with footstep noises and he wouldn't appear in close distance but at far distance - would create a ominous atmosphere. They could program his AI to be smart and run away / hide in areas away from the player

I remember the Red Fog myth, I remember when I was younger I bought one of the homes in the Vinewood hills, after I bought it I saved the game and left and the red fog was there, really scared me when I was younger so I remember I just quit playing lmao
Lately I've been getting recommended a lot of retrospectives about GTA myths, and I find it really fascinating. I grew up in a Spanish-speaking country so when it came to myth hunting I've always only ever managed to find information from the Spanish community, so seeing that the English community was just as active in myth hunting is really interesting.
Hell, with all these retrospectives recommended I've also come to discover myths that didn't quite pick up in the Spanish community, such as the Junkyard Killer or the Helldogs

This is so nostalgic! I was like 8-12 when this was at its peak, and I had access to GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and San Andreas. I would spend my time on the computer just watching a bunch of videos about these myths and legends. Mostly in San Andreas. They ALWAYS either used the X-Files theme or Clubbed to Death from the Matrix. Fun times, lmao
I still listen to Clubbed to Death sometimes. Its a great tune. But I wouldn't use it for a myth video (not cause of copyright) it just wouldn't go with it.
I remember as a kid finding a shark. I didn't thunk anything of it and didn't have recirding software but I was 100% sure that it was a shark for many years until it was finally proven.
Funny enough, in the woods creature one someone modified a interview with a Rockstar employer to "there's no such thing as bigfoot,just like in real life, however there's something in the woods"
HOWEVER the original was "there's no such thing as bigfoot,just like in real life"
Basically someone did just some changes and everyone fall for that.
Good to see you back on the classics, have you ever tried to cover the little secrets and easter eggs in the more classic cod zombies maps? They have a lot of creepy detail that i think would fit in your channel.
I have seen videos about the creepy easter eggs and secrets in COD maps, but I don't play COD. Even though the secrets in the maps are worthy of a video, I cant look into it at this moment.

Back in the day I enjoyed watching your GTA SA videos well all the GTA myth videos good to be back on this game on this channel.
Also since you mentioned about the GTA 5 myths...there's a very specif "myth" i remember seeing way back in 2013 (when the game was first released) where after been wasted by some sharks, later on a megalladon would appear and do the same, and unlike the normal sharks...the protagonist body complety dissapear...now i know this might sound fake...but i ACTUALLY remember that video very well...LITERALLY everything
However it was removed nowadays so i can't fully help you to see if it was fake like the "radio signal" one which i sent you a video about it.
god i missed the day of console rental places where these myths and legends are spreads among the kids, then when the older kids looking for them we'll glued to his screen despite didn't found anything but we sure love making wild theories among ourselves

Still, searching for them and running around the scary areas in the game was a thrill on its own. I remember once running around the forest at night in DayZ in a empty server looking for something creepy. My imagination was making me jumpy.

We had no internet but as a kid I remember most of these wow I’m old
GTA SA the game with so many myths you could make an encyclopedia out of it, oh wait there is one.
Honestly we’ll never be able to recreate something like GTA SA’s myth atmosphere. Every single myth was from pure imagination (aside from a few bugs like ghost cars and peds spawning in dangerous locations). The newer games actively put spooky Easter eggs in their games, which is very nice, but the reason it feels so different is because we were all so young and TH-cam was a different time, with not many people calling out how these myths were 99.9% mods/editing. In a way, we wanted to believe in the myths, and in a game that felt so comfortable, with a young fan base, it was inevitable.
I love how a lot of these myths are just characters from horror moviesn
i think the "crime" that takes place in the panopticon is supposed to be a reference to the main story where you participate in illegal racing with woozie there 😭
The only myth in gta sa that I was hoping was true and actually did exploring was the aliens and UFOs since of area 69, the probe in and the mention of aliens. I remember though playing in Mexico a modded version of gta sa on an arcade cabinet with some horror characters , unique vehicles, unique weapons and some cool player skins but by that time I knew about modding and tried to explore as much as I can of the game before the timer ran out on the cabinet
18:42 As far as i know, the beaten up Glendales cannot be fixed because they use a different model called "glenshit.dff" which is just a glendale model but only using the beaten up parts as stock, and tho it uses the same parameters as a normal Glendale, it is by default a completely different car

I Have Gta san on my Ipad but i stop playing it because that game got all type of creepy stuff ghost cars Ghost planes and myths and legends I remember one time i was in los santos i was coming out the Ammunation gun shop and i seen a plane crash into the skyscraper and fall down i walk up to it there's no driver all that stuff is scary asf 😭

The wood creature could be real. More likely a human NPC more than a “creature” could be a pedestrian spawn glitch or a serial killer Easter egg hidden extremely well by rockstar. As for the slender man and jigsaw killer myths… come on they’re just stretching it there

I still think bigfoot is in san andreas, but people are looking for the wrong thing, they're looking for a bigfoot to spawn, I think you need to view a texture from a distance using the thermal goggles. It's just finding that texture. People who have looked for bigfoot in the code are looking for a character model or texture that does not have the thermal goggles filter applied. I think it will be like a red dot in the distance, kinda like when you see him in GTA5 from the chopper with a thermal scope (maybe that was even a clue).
Anyway I have leads, cos the thermal goggles behave strangely and when you get to the woods and put them on, turn them off then flick through your weapons, they disappear, this doesn't happen outside the woods.
If It was real then rockstar wouldn't put jokes about people thinking It was real in Gta 4,Gta 5 and Red dead Redemption

So why hasn't anyone found it? Let me suspend my disbelief for this instance and take your word at face value. Now, why would they include a character and make that character so hidden in gameplay knowing many will be convinced that there isn't any cryptid?

I never found one, even though I beat the game like 3 or 4 times and even went trying to get a 100%.
@@TheseMyths that sucks i guess I just got lucky without realising but they do indeed spawn in the ps2 version that I have on my psn account (before rockstar and take two took it down) hopefully you find one soon

I love these videos, but those myths don't exists, why? Because this game was never meant to have such things, and probably if they wanted to add those myths, the game would felt off in tone. Its not the goal of the game after all. Sure there are easter eggs, but that's a different thing.
exactly, it was just specific things put into the game which made people think such myths existed when they actually didn't - I guess that's just the thrill of it and we can let our brains fear the 'unknown'.

@@TheseMyths no worries, it's not like it caused me to unsubscribe to your channel or anything. Other TH-cam channels do the same annoying thing with the whole "Please remember to like and subscribe" thing and I just didn't feel like putting up with it in the middle of a video like that.
I can only apologize for that, I hate doing it. But from what I gathered, many who often watch a youtuber don't press the like button, even if they like the video, they just forget to, and the algorithm pushes a video depending on likes. Which is why I put that small section (5 seconds), no one is forced to, but it helps me a lot.
