Getting close to the one year mark of losing my mother. This poem as usual lifts my spirits. Happy Mother's Day to you Aretha and to all who are watching!
you have a distored view about ' mothers are all loving etc, and you are generilising !!! '' you claim is wrong, is a ''myth'' of love, and he is braing washing people to think that mother are loving . The truth is they were four millions abortion in USA because '' they mothers did not have love for their babies'hence 'love and said '' I don't want this baby, and they millions of babies and children being abandoned by their mother, or sold to get money, even murder because of the hate towards a child for being different or of a gender etc, a mother held her daughter while she was raped by her boy friend, a mother would put her boy friend before her children , I work in Child protection, and nine percent are mothers who have emotional,physical and sexually abused their children, There are mothers who are not ''loving' emotional distant, no affection , caring etc where by the father is all the loving, nurturer , instead. In my childhood my mother abused me, no love, or caring she was cruel, and my father was the loving , affectionate , and caring . Mothers are not in general loving some are and some are not, whereby fathers are and some are not, a molthers' love is a myth .
This is my view on mother the mother I am the mothers i affiliate with the mothers I’ve build community with and for the ones that are actually doing the best they can that is who this piece is for I do understand not every mother can relate so it’s a case of if the shoe fits wear it!!
