I love how Melffys basically act like curious little animals. They all come out of your hand at the end phase to play and run back if they see a monster.
is so funny to play melffy, I Build a different list and use some unexpected techs like Closed forrest to boost the ATK of beasts and prevent the opponent from using fields, also can short even more the deck thanks to terraforming. Also one of my favorite techs is Oni-gami combo, because in my build i use 3 Nimble beaver, so i can easily summon Joyous Melffy + Cat Shark with for example Valerifawn and a copy of Nimbre Beaver, then plus oni-gami combo, you have a 4000 body that attack directly twice. Also i use "a major upset" in side for non link-XYZ decks, very funny XD
I love mellfys so much. Quick history I was one of the pioneers of this strat way before mellfys were a thing during the pepe format. The deck was born as an anti-meta strat that revolved around opening with either cat or schooled obedience to synchro summon a naturia beast that spelled instant game over against pepe. It worked wonders but after pepe got banned the deck no longer served a purpose. That all changed when mellfys came into the picture
I'm a new player looking to build a Melffy deck so this was super helpful! I'd love to know which sleeves you're using on the main deck (the pink ones) and where oh WHERE you got that playmat!
I play almost exclusivly Melffy in master duel, have had them ranked as high as Diamond 2! I am certain i could climb higher but I insist on running a fat brick of a deck! Focusing on Synchros with them is extremely fun, im glad you mentioned the Accel to Satelite Warrior line because its one of my all time favorites!! I took Zeus line out for Tribrigade stuff since i just really like Shuraig! Love melffies and really appreciate the deck breakdown, lots and lots of good info!
Melffys has interrupt for days. A good one card combo is this; start with wally on field(opponents turn), opponent summons first time: wally eff summon catty and puppy, opponent summons again: catty and puppy eff, catty to hand search pinny, puppy to hand ss kalantosa; kalantosa eff pop 1 card, pinny eff summon desert locus(with catty and puppy) rip 1 card from opponents hand, desert locus effect synchro with kalantosa into level 8, from here you can go into lord omega to rip another card or adamancipator dragite for spell/trap negate or draco beserker for pseudo-fenrir. You can also go into tri-edge master instead of locust for another pop and a draw if you dont think opponent will have follow up, then on your turn you can synch tri-edge and kalantosa into dragite, omega, or beserker. So wally converts to either 1 pop 2 hand rips or 2 pops 1 draw on your opponents turn, not bad. Dont over look the new white forest synch 6 which can book of eclipse(quick eff w pinny). Yep melffy cracked.
