I don’t really understand the issue here…why do you wanna transfer files from ssd to macbook for editing? Can’t you edit directly from the ssd? And there’s some velcro kind of thing to keep the ssd on the back of laptop. I don’t have an macbook so asking from viewers perspective

I have the same MacBook Pro but it’s a M1 Pro that I bought in 2022, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Although I have a storage issue, I bought a Sandisk 2TB Extreme Pro SSD for 16k and it's a tiny SSD that I can carry along with the MacBook. I'm constantly getting 890MB/s read and write speeds, which can only be achieved with the Sandisk cable or with Apple's Thunderbolt cable.
@@iamarangaa I have used windows laptop in the past but its frequent windows OS updates made my machine slow and moreover its battery life is bad. But in case of m1, It’s been four years since I changed to MacBook M1, still battery life is good and system speed is same as new one.
