It’s good to have your own money especially for husband and wife. It’s good for Neri to have her own money so she won’t be depending on you. But it’s also good to have a joint account or conjugal money so you can monitor how your money grows as a couple and to use that money to manage your household expenses. Kudos to Chito that he knows how to manage his finances and he was able to influence you. It’s a rare find to have a partner who will teach and guide you to be a better you as a person.It’s also nice to see that he is very down to earth and very secure of his manhood and couldn’t care less about egos. Depende sa sitwasyon po. Ako lahat ang humahawak ng pera namin. Pera ng hubby ko is nasa kin. Allowance or budget lang binibigay ko sa kaniya. Kasi mas magastos siya sakin :). I tried na siya ang humawak, sa kaniya ako humihingi ng budget lahat pero nastress siya sa pagbubudget. Hehehe. Kaya binalik niya sakin. Kaya depende po :)

Wow! I'm glad i watched this video Miss Neri. Sobrang na inspired ako. Kami ng hubby ko is hiwalay din ng pera. Ang set up namin is kunyari ang rent ng apartment is 75,000 Pesos yung 50k sa knya sakin yung 25k since mas malaki kita nya sa akin, sagot nya expenditures sa sasakyan like gas, insurance namin lahat, kuryente, internet etc. Rent ng apartment lang sa akin pero I pay naman my own phone bills. Pagdating sa pag grocery pagkain siya din gastos pero since di ko gusto minsan mga foods nila, I buy Pinoy foods na inistock ko. Kanya kanya kami hawak ng pera namin. Pero pagdating naman sa mga desisyun like ako, bumili sasakyan ayaw nya kasi di daw practical pero respect na lang nya kasi pera ko naman at explain ko sa kanya bakit dahil gusto ko may gagamitin kami sa Pinas pag uuwi kami at habang wala kami sa Pinas, nagagamit din ang van as extra income like pakyawan sa mga guests namin dahil pina Airbnb ko po yung bahay namin sa Pinas para mag generate din ng extra income. I can relate..before ako naghahawak sa budget at sobrang stress ako magbudget..pero nung si mister pinaghawak ko ng budget sa household, mas ok ung sitwasyon,,,, nabawasan ung iisipin ko sa mga kelangan bilhin, lulutuin sa araw araw....si mister ung nag aasikaso ng online shop at mineral water refil station after nya mag resign, ako nagwwork. kaya mas maluwag ang finances namin kahit papaano... at kahit mag asawa kami, may kanya kanya kaming savings.... chinachallenge namin ung isat isa kung ma-achieve ung target savings namin by the end of the year..hopefully ma achieve namin.
Expenses should be managed by whoever is better in financial management between couples. Regardless if it's the wife or the husband. Nakasanayan kasi na ang wife ang maghahandle ng pera but truth is, may mga wives din na hindi marunong magbudget. If both couples have income, I agree with Neri's style that they should have a separate money or savings account BUT dapat meron pa rin conjugal money since you are married. Ano pa purpose ng pag-aasawa kung magkakanya-kanya din naman pala pagdating sa gastos? That conjugal money dapat both have access to that in the sense that neither can touch the money if walang permission or consent nong isa. Parang joint account kumbaga. On the other hand, mas maigi din kasi na as a couple, may separate money pa din kayo because worst-case scenario if maghihiwalay kayo, may sarili kang pera hindi ka naka depende sa asawa mo. Personally, I have my own money and whatever I earn, I set aside savings for myself and at the same time, half of it goes to the conjugal money. Pero syempre when it comes to my husband's income, I handle his money only because he doesn't know how to handle his money and I do the budgeting and financial management in the household. But I am very transparent to him, I keep record kung saan napupunta yong pera niya up to the last peso. I am the accountant, bookkeeper and auditor of the house. Haha. Ang lalaki din kasi kapag masyado maraming pera and its very accessible, it's a temptation for them to spend it on inuman, bulakbol or worse spend on "other girls". Let's be honest that usually happens. My husband can get his extra money anytime he wants but I need to know saan niya gagamitin yong pera. Kung justified naman yong reason, why not? Transparency is very important especially when it comes to spending. My husband knows where my personal money goes he just doesn't have access to withdraw it. For me, "happy wife, happy life" is still the best policy. Haha.

I can relate..before ako naghahawak sa budget at sobrang stress ako magbudget..pero nung si mister pinaghawak ko ng budget sa household, mas ok ung sitwasyon,,,, nabawasan ung iisipin ko sa mga kelangan bilhin, lulutuin sa araw araw....si mister ung nag aasikaso ng online shop at mineral water refil station after nya mag resign, ako nagwwork. kaya mas maluwag ang finances namin kahit papaano... at kahit mag asawa kami, may kanya kanya kaming savings.... chinachallenge namin ung isat isa kung ma-achieve ung target savings namin by the end of the year..hopefully ma achieve namin.

Expenses should be managed by whoever is better in financial management between couples. Regardless if it's the wife or the husband. Nakasanayan kasi na ang wife ang maghahandle ng pera but truth is, may mga wives din na hindi marunong magbudget. If both couples have income, I agree with Neri's style that they should have a separate money or savings account BUT dapat meron pa rin conjugal money since you are married. Ano pa purpose ng pag-aasawa kung magkakanya-kanya din naman pala pagdating sa gastos? That conjugal money dapat both have access to that in the sense that neither can touch the money if walang permission or consent nong isa. Parang joint account kumbaga. On the other hand, mas maigi din kasi na as a couple, may separate money pa din kayo because worst-case scenario if maghihiwalay kayo, may sarili kang pera hindi ka naka depende sa asawa mo. Personally, I have my own money and whatever I earn, I set aside savings for myself and at the same time, half of it goes to the conjugal money. Pero syempre when it comes to my husband's income, I handle his money only because he doesn't know how to handle his money and I do the budgeting and financial management in the household. But I am very transparent to him, I keep record kung saan napupunta yong pera niya up to the last peso. I am the accountant, bookkeeper and auditor of the house. Haha. Ang lalaki din kasi kapag masyado maraming pera and its very accessible, it's a temptation for them to spend it on inuman, bulakbol or worse spend on "other girls". Let's be honest that usually happens. My husband can get his extra money anytime he wants but I need to know saan niya gagamitin yong pera. Kung justified naman yong reason, why not? Transparency is very important especially when it comes to spending. My husband knows where my personal money goes he just doesn't have access to withdraw it. For me, "happy wife, happy life" is still the best policy. Haha.
