😢😢In India, the value of a higher education degree has diminished as Indian universities merely issue certificates without focusing on the quality of education. The teacher-student ratio in Indian universities is notably poor, which is the main reason for heavy unemployment in India, this is a nightmare for young Indian students.
And they follow a very old syllabus/curriculum like suppose someone is doing mtech and btech from iit Madras, in computer science and you will find that they have the same syllabus. Same theory class with lack of enough practical knowledge that should be provided.
The management in 99 percent of colleges is getting worse...even if they give degree. There's nobody to guide the students after passing out from schools. The authorities waste 3-6 months or even more time of students in the name of application procedure. There's no coordination between high schools and colleges. For the smallest of details in the government colleges students have to rely on guesses because there's nobody to guide.... What is the government officers, authorities.... going? Authorities please do something about the policy and administration...

The best way to study in India is self study. The thing I have been doing from 6th grade. Currently I am capable enough to say I have around 2 years of experience with JS, CSS and HTML. When it comes to JS I still do need to learn proper problem solving skills and algorithms because they require advanced or higher level Math knowledge which a 9th grader(last session) doesn't have hence I'll need to work on that, there is a requirement to widen my scope by learning more about backend and start working with libraries to make my life easier. HTML and CSS I'd say I am good enough and will improve with time. I have been doing all this *completely* on my own from youtube. I am planning on making an indie game so I'll also have to learn how to draw. This all will take around 3 more years and by the time I graduate 12th I'll take some days of break after that I'll prepare for IIT and then it's just game dev. This isn't a comment to showoff it is meant to present my talents and to motivate others in a positive way that if a kid can do it you can do it. As always have a DAMN GOOD DAY!
To be honest, the fact that they didn't force me to stop while not knowing what I was doing(they both are from rural backgrounds) is already great and now that they sort of understand, I can say they'll completely support me in some time... When it comes to time I'll have a lot of it like whole 7-8 years(from now) and I am slowly trying to be more dedicated towards my yearly resolutions. @@thehalfbloodprince-nm8uk

I’m currently in my 2nd year pursuing BCom (Hons) from Delhi University, and I can totally relate to what you are saying. The condition here at almost all DU colleges is pathetic. In my first year only we were not even allotted any teacher for our core subjects for around 2 months, even after allotting the teacher, they canceled the class 10 min before the allotted time and the quality of education was also bad. When it comes to elective subjects, the situation is even worse. After choosing a subject, it takes months for a teacher to be assigned. Only one or two months before the exams, they ask us to switch to a subject where a teacher is available. The process is time-consuming, involving submitting applications to various teachers, and the administration is slow in responding. In my third semester’s final exam, students received their admit cards just 10 minutes before the exam. Some students were denied entry because their admit cards were given 30 minutes after the exam started, and in some cases, admit cards were lost. This seems to be a common situation in almost all Delhi University colleges, including those in the north and south campuses. The corruption levels at DU are alarmingly high, and the infrastructure is inadequate. For instance, computer labs use computers that are over 20 years old. It raises concerns about how we can effectively study lab classes requiring extensive software use.
90% of jobs do not require graduation. 12th pass is enough. What is the use of college degree to be banker, customer service representative or most roles in government offices? Still the jobs ask for a degree. Degree is required only for highly skilled jobs like research, medicines etc. Qualification should be asked according to job requirement. This is one way to prevent fake degrees.
I disagree. This was true in 20th century, but not any more. The competition in every sector is so huge that having a degree becomes a basic necessity. Most government jobs also require a degree. As far as skills are concerned, anyone and everyone can learn, but the pressure of college, exams and projects is a different thing to handle and makes you at least mentally prepared to work in industry.

I am really frustrated after getting into my college. I really hate it! I hate most of my teachers. They only care about money and their ego is sky reaching. First of all whatever they teach us at college doesn't come in exam. And some teachers can't even teach us well so most of us can't even understand. More importantly, these teachers also take our tuitions but they still lack regularity. They take frequent breaks week after week but still expect us to pay their fees. And just to suck money out of us they don't even try to cover the syllabus within time limit. They keep delaying it so that they can get money till they can and when the exam comes they send us several things to cover just in a week or 2 before exam. Some Dont even care before exam too. Our attendance marks also depends on whether we take tuitions from them or not. Some teachers even when requested don't give us notes. And books have vast syllabus ( many not required things included) and not a certain book is enough to complete syllabus as every book has different topics covered. So it is also confusing. Yet they have the audacity to say we don't study and come to college. I am really depressed about it. Even if I try I can't score enough neither can get gain knowledge from them. And whatever happens now( scoring bad) will only effect while trying to get into good University. We don't even have any other option to take tuitions from other teachers as there aren't any except them or don't take tuitions of us. Even during internal they use the same politics. Don't have any way out of it.😢😢😢

Such an informative video. I have my opinion about Indian education system. I finished my bachelor's in 2018 and came to Germany to pursue MS . There is a huge difference between the education system of India and Germany. The most important thing which I noticed is the lack of practical experience which our graduates get during their graduation. In India they mostly focus on theoritical knowledge which is useless if we don't know it's application. Here in Germany we have something called as Wroking student where we can get technical job for 20 hours per week in any company and it's related to our studies. It's more like whatever we are studying we are working on that in the company, it's more like training during the studies. And 20 hours isn't that big that we can't focus on our studies simultaneously. We get paid also for this job. Also we have internship during studies for minimum 3 months and maximum six months. At the end we have to do write thesis to finalize our masters. All together gives us a good practical experience to get atleast a junior position in any company. All theses which I mentioned above is lacking in our education system. I bet alot of ppl doesn't even know what working student means . Internship in India used to be like for a month that too in the second semester where we have zero knowledge about any language or tools. Unnecessary subjects like having 4-5 different maths for computer science students. Mechanical lab where I learned welding even though I was a computer science student.......so overall the system can be changed but someone has to take initiative and the most important things is someone with a proper qualification should be in the education ministry of our country so that he or she can feel the problem and work on that.

😢😢In India, the value of a higher education degree has diminished as Indian universities merely issue certificates without focusing on the quality of education. The teacher-student ratio in Indian universities is notably poor, which is the main reason for heavy unemployment in India, this is a nightmare for young Indian students.
There is also lack of funding. Take IISERs, they have good teacher student ratio but poor funding.
And they follow a very old syllabus/curriculum like suppose someone is doing mtech and btech from iit Madras, in computer science and you will find that they have the same syllabus. Same theory class with lack of enough practical knowledge that should be provided.

What are you planning to do after Bcom ?
Admit card given after 30 mins of exam 😂😂 wow bro
90% of jobs do not require graduation. 12th pass is enough. What is the use of college degree to be banker, customer service representative or most roles in government offices? Still the jobs ask for a degree. Degree is required only for highly skilled jobs like research, medicines etc.
Qualification should be asked according to job requirement. This is one way to prevent fake degrees.
Exactly

Britishers made this education system to make mindless workers not creators and the sad truth is it's been 77 years and students are still debating about problems in education system. In India people ask ministers to provide free food, electricity
but nobody asks them for best education😭😢
The surrounding environment in that local area where they live doesn't allow them to ask that. But many people question these issues.
And when you realise the fact that this trash education system is 189 yrs old
Majority log aur students khud students ko blame krte hai ki inme hi skills nhi hain. Aur jo foreign jaate hai unko anti nationals aur selfish kehte hain.
Jab victim blaming bnd karoge toh asli issues sochne ka time milega logo ko.
Thanks for talking about it.

Edit: because Sanskrit has always been the civilizational language of India, this languages has influenced almost all Indian languages. As Dr Ambedkar said that Sanskrit should be the connecting language of India.

I agree that a part of India should increase education quality in India. i don't agree students have no way to study in India and leave the country just for education. it is more about exposure as many folks enjoy the laid-back lifestyle, work culture, and probability of a huge ROI as well as earn in dollars and look for early retirement in india
India should really be thinking towards retaining the brilliant minds or to help them with the condition you told. Honestly speaking, my college had the same problem, the curriculum was so far behind, now when I look at it I feel what all things were lacking behind the technologies and versions that were taught were 5 years behind of what the industry uses. My classmates were not able to communicate in acceptable English even after having Buisness Communication, they were not able to differentiate between, principal and principle, expect and except. Education System need major reforms. It is need of the hour. And I feel that only correct and skill based education can save the youth
Priority of NDA govt in 3rd term should be to focus on Eduacation and upskilling of young population to benefit from demographic dividend. Otherwise, we're so doomed.
Exams should be banned. There should be practical classes of explaining concepts and building things, writing essays and group projects.
Teachers should be hired on basis of their capability to explain things and practical knowledge in industry, not on answering 150 MCQs, even there is reservation.
This should be the highest priortity of any winning govt in LS election.

I am an international student and I can say that research oriented students are very ill treatment in India. There is no proper foundational course for the latest tech. So many of them advertise but when you join their course you will find even instructors have no Idea what they are doing. This is really sad but Honestly who has the resources they should come out of India for higher education R&D is so much better outside. No need to fight in exams with less than 1% success rate. Most importantly you will always find someone to get help from on your Ideas . Outside no one thinks you are mad and getting funding for your research is so easy.

This is true. I study in a government that I wrote a competitive exam for (NIHH) and then when I went there I was so disappointed. The building is dilapidated (not renovated even once since its establishment, there is no faculty, and the faculty that s present has the least interest in students. We are a professional course but we get 0 training. We have no classes or lectures, faulty equipment, no teaching at all. We have to study by ourselves for all exams and the lecturers till date haven't taught us a single page of any subject. They bribe the inspection commitee and threaten to reduce our marks when we want to complain. It's literally hellish. I hate the college. There is no system and the management and faculty just loot all the funds that they receive and face no consequences because they are placed in a govt job. Only the students suffer.

5:58 Hey, I'm from IIT KGP. Teaching 8085 shouldn't be considered outdated. Its still relevant today for a beginner learning microprocessers. Infact even top companies like Intel, TI, Nvidia, Qualcomm etc still ask questions from such topics. If it wasn't important, why would they care to test us in such topics 😂
Oh my goodness! Finally someone with brain in comment section. Like yeah, desktop and supercomputers processors keep upgrading, but their instructions and machine cycles are same as old processors and that understanding is important. Universities also cover pentium, ARM, etc. anyway.
And C, C++ is still used in industry, at least in embedded. One can learn web development, SAP like stuff in college & fail embedded systems interview lmao. If everyone started teaching new technologies, say web development, then again lakhs of people will learn & there won't be jobs for most. I'd say can't blame anyone. It is what it is. Babies are born with zero knowledge & expected near latest trend which keeps going far away. It is what it is.
Do we even have education system. I thought it is just a industry.

Regarding 8085 and 8086 microprocessors, we use them just to give an understanding of how a microprocessor works because these were the basic microprocessors which are the easiest to understand. They are a good foundation for understanding low level machine programming language too. This is like questioning why do we learn multiplication of 3 digit by 3 digit numbers when in real life, we would always use a calculator to solve it
Dude tell in application of real life use of microprocessor in professional?...atleast this is not 10 12 th standard where it is compulsory to learn all branches....it is such a course where education is practically applied 😊

actually the point is eduction does not give immidiate results , education par paisa lagane se aaj kuch dikhai nahi deta dikhai 10-15 saal baad deta hai . isiliye koi bhi sarkaar infrastructure jaisi cheezo pe paisa laga ke vote lena better samajhti hai .
