I received my WLT 124019 (the black sandrail version) three days ago, and that little thing certainly is impressive!
I mistakenly assumed it was another clone of the 12428, and much like Pokemon, I’ve been trying to collect ‘em all. But nope, while they might look similar, these are distant kin.
Obviously the speed is the biggest difference, but what makes the -019 really stand out (imho) is the suspension. Those shocks have utterly owned everything I’ve thrown at them. Dirt, large gravel, rough asphalt, smooth asphalt, high speed maneuvers, jumps... and of course, drifting around the smooth concrete here in the warehouse is a blast.
I seriously DO NOT need ANOTHER buggy in my already out-of-control buggy collection; but I admit, I’m tempted to order ANOTHER -019, because it just wouldn’t be fair to give a potential competitor one of my 12428’s. 😜
I want to buy the sg1601 and 1602 to help you guys out and I've watched your videos 2 years ago thinking maybe I'd jump to the hobby but I lost my job due to health issues and never got into to it but sometimes we have to live a little bit especially right now. Like I said I want to buy 2 but the china shipping throws me off is the arrma 4x4 550 mega any good? Thanks for such awesome videos

Ahh, You forgot the lil 1:32 Mini High Speed Buggy by URUAV. The one with the foam tires for $15. I think I got mine for $12 and $2 shipping. Then I had to buy my sister one and then a friend who hasnt been able to afford to fix his nitro Traxxis. But good call on the SG1602 and thanks for steering me toward something that fast that i could afford, and the dang thing is indestructible! Thank You, Thank You. I could have spent $150 or more on something else not as well made.

I had a blast with my Granite this summer and now Axial scx24's for the winter .
I got mine already, combo birthday and Christmas.. bought the new Sport Cub. Last time out busted the nose off the original one, trying to glue it back. I always did like the hood on the Wraith when I first started seeing videos of it. But I think I'm now just going to get bodies for my SCX Deadbolts 1 & 2. And yeah I have some SCX24s for inside, need to work on a course throughout my trailer yet.

The SCX-24 is the truck that got me back into the RC hobby....and my 7 year old nephew loves driving it as well!

Buy the SG1602 with brushless motor. Its super fast and people on TH-cam try to break em at skateparks and cant do it. They call it unbreakable. After 2 years I had to replace a gear but its still going and still has great battery life
Subscribed! I’ve watched many of your videos over the years and just now subscribed. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Got my daughter the wltoys 12428 for Christmas. I put an fpv camera on it last night as we needed something to fpv when the weather is to bad to fly our quads. I’m hoping for a feiyue fy03h for Christmas to fpv and for use to race. Why do you bash the 144001, I have one and I really like it. It has held up really good, the shock tower has bent a little bit but not bad. I do have the 144018 on order, its the Sand Rail looking one. It looks so cool. They are the same as far as suspension, shocks and such, just the chassis and center drive shaft is different.

Hey you two, awesome channel! Just discovered y'all a week ago in an older video at rotary Park (West Virginia) that's just across the street from me! I bought my 8 year old son a Bezgar 1 (upgraded version) truck for Christmas and it was great for the first two batteries and then went to crap with forward and reverse. His heart is broken because he loved it so much an now after all the testing I've done I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with it. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should do?
Abby... do yourself a favor and sink the money into the xmaxx for the upgrades!!! RPM suspension arms, CEN Racing pins, GDS Spur gear, Robinson Racing pinion gear, and unbreakable body. Worst case scenario.... shoe goo and dry wall tape! Well worth the money, time, and headache. I also picked up 2 of the SCX24 at my local hobby Shop on Saturday. Went in for one and walked out with 2. 😆

Please give some "race kits" a try.... 4wd buggy, 2wd stadium truck, E-Buggy, etc... even if you don't get into racing.... would love to see you 2 do a video giving your take on something like an EB48 2.0...
Would also love to see your channel feature a couple drag cars or on-road kits like the Tamiya TT-02/TT-02D or similar...
Lastly, you both seem to really like crawler/trail trucks... have you tried any of the Element RC trucks? My kids and I have SCX10s(1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen), as well as a bomber... I think next I want a Gatekeeper or Ecto ...

I am always looking for a place to fly, I fly at the club, but there are times you are looking to be alone so you can concentrate and not annoying other people as you learn to use something and become proficient. You guys seem to find grate places.

Just wondering, can you guys put a budget basher vid together, with the focus being on what price point the cars start to be able to backflip and maintain control in midair.. I'm a hobbyist not a racer, although I've in racing, bashing is super fun to me, but not if the car I buy is completely gutless the second it's in the air (thinking of some Banggood vehicles I've had)

I've been a racer (club racing not a pro) since 1996. What I would not do for a friend or neighbor to race with. You two are so cute both Judy and I watch your channel together.

Haha, under the Xmas tree? I accidentally bought a crawler when I was browsing a local hobby shop waaay before Xmas, the UK version of the Danchee Ridgerock. It was so well price it seemed rude not to by it! And it's the best value RC car of any type I've ever bought. I'm getting back into RC off roaders now with a Team Associated Rival MT10 on the way, and a Schumacher Cougar Laydown race buggy waiting to re-start racing when the UK lockdown finally eases in May But I deffo want a desert/rock racer looking truck too.
Oh, I already have 7 other RC cars around the place!

The lasernut is my current favorite car BUT for the first 3 months i had this truck i broke it before the battery was even at 50% and it arrived broken in the box and missing the screws that hold the body to the car....Iv replaced most of the parts with tekno/vita/exo so its only a losi on the exterior lol
I have enjoyed watching you guys enjoying the hobby! I’m a big fan of losi all of them! I like electric and nitro! My favorite basher from losi is there race 1/8 truggy but very expensive! I also have a five T second favorite but again expensive!

I found ways to drift my New bright mustang before it was cool when I was a kid. Slightly wet linoleum floor! New bright got me into r/c. A Tamiya Blackfoot kit got me into hobby grade r/c.

Love all the videos. New to the RC world. How do you clean up you RC trucks and buggies after an outdoor bash? Do you have a video on that?
No video on cleaning trucks, but we talk about it occasionally. Winter time is great, as the snow does an awesome job at cleaning them. Compressed air is the best method, or just some cheap brushes / toothbrushes. If you want them to be spotless, mix in some water too. Just get it good and dry when you are done 👍😁😎⚓
@@TheRcSaylors WD-40 does a great job. Just be sure to wipe it down really well when you're done and be sure to keep it out of your electronic pieces.
