Utanman90 It has the same stability as the Knight Shield (but better fire and lightning dmg reduction), so assuming you were going through the game in the "proper" order (Asylum>Firelink>Burg>Parish) it's one of the best shields you can get at that point of the game. Unless a Black Knight or Balder Knight drops a shield.
