I'll disagree with Top 5 on HMS, for me with Vanguard in play DOY would be dropped for Unicorn retrofit. Next to Percy she's 2nd best healer in game which already puts her up there but with a bit more damage.

I actually rate Unicorn higher than Perseus now. Her vanguard healing is spaced out better which reduces overhealing, and she does more damage if the fight lasts to her second launch. Obviously she doesn't heal the main fleet as well, but that hasn't been relevant in my play so far.
Volga is easy top 5 for Northern Parliament. Before I had Perseus, she was my 2nd best healer. She also does very solid damage, and has a very high aviation stat when her skill is at max stack (which she gets immediately in a 1-1 fleet)
She's easily top 3. She's great for when you are leveling a main fleet ship, since she always heals the lowest health % ship, while other carrier healers have very limited back line healing potential.
My ships is like best one in my Fleet is Helena,Kiev and Kronshtadt and sovetskaya Rossiya and Enterprise and might Retro Unicorn since she's a Good Healer
I won't Say FDG Is in a bad spot cause after the addition of the HMS UR fire control radar her damage output is insane she sometimes deals more damage than UVH. And FDG still needs her fate sim 5 on top of that, i can't wait
I think he has one video on the core shop. That shop contains the most goal-oriented gear. The prototype shop is fine for collecting the rainbow bulins and rainbow gear blueprints. Purchase the retrofit gear items when you need them. It takes a while to collect enough points for these things, though. The other shops are fairly straightforward. Focus on what you want to collect, or what you need for upgrading things.
Plane loadouts (for example, if you have two fighter slots, you could double on the rockets, which makes you better against lighter armor) and skills (if you get bonus damage against light armor...)
The PR4 fighter planes that use the AP Rocket armaments have very high modifiers against both light and medium armor. If you are dealing with carriers that have 2 fighter slots such as Illustrious, Indomitable or Centaur (to name a few), this makes them a good option against light and medium armor enemies which tend to include "trash mobs." Your main issue is getting more than 6 of them... In other cases, you tend to use ships with either preloaded airstrikes or parallel torpedo bombers to clear stages quickly, and converging torpedo bombers to take out bosses in operation siren. (Although, bosses in OS can have varied armor types.)
The way you kept hovering over Honoka made me think you were going to mention her. She has carried me so much plus she’s adorable. You have a ton of good/maxed out ships but for some of us, she is a shining beacon in the darkness.

While this is a very cool concept, you mostly talk about the Main fleet, and don't go super in depth on any Vanguard other then a select few. Maybe do one that focuses on vanguard for each faction too?
Yeah because this game is mostly designed so your main fleet does most of the damage unfortunately. If you're running buffers you usually cycle between 2-3 in the same fleet for every fleet. Damage dealing vanguards exists all over so it's hard to justify them being amazing especially because they don't come close to main fleet damage.
yea i'm not sure what ppl think of her. I'm not a vet player but have her in my flagship mob fleet and i think she performs quite well and assist a lot with dps from the backline to the frontlines.
By his own standards, she falls under "world 14 content," which is technically niche. At the end of the day, destroyers other than shimakaze are kind of a meme.
