Never thought I’d see a golden retriever, arguably the most ungothic dog to ever dog, at a gothic market. And I would absolutely die for her.
That's my girl Olive and we'd both love to say thank you very much! She goes to metal gigs, has more photoshoot props than I have clothes, and she thoroughly enjoyed herself 🥰 tysm 🖤

It was so cute watching Severine having her say to the nice ladies chatting back to her. She had a cute little outfit too. Adorable. I just finished my second eye surgery and healing well on antibiotics. Cant see clearly yet and will get there. Its done now and I am glad. Thank you for the video.

Severine making friends just makes me so happy! She is seriously such a cute baby! Those big blue eyes! And her laugh is so cute! One thing my husband and I hated about my daughter being like this was we were very shy and total random strangers would want to talk to us about our baby who was very infectious with laughter and personality... We hated not being able to go to a store or Doctor apt without many conversations and interactions with strangers... Not bc we are mean, just that we are very shy....

Whitby seems like a more intimate festival compared to the others.
Depends. The town itself, sadly, gets rammed with photographers, people who go just to dress up and gawpers but Tomorrow's Ghosts festival is technically separate from a lot of the rest. The people who come out for the bands were nowhere to be seen during the day (at least I didn't see any familiar faces!)
With it being the whole town there's such a community feel even though people come from all over the country/world to be there. It's like for that weekend, Whitby is everyone's home ❤

I'm from Québec where our national meal is poutine which is basically fries (chips), gravy and cheese (but curds instead of shredded) and yup, we do sometimes justify eating it multiple times a week by calling it ''basically a salad'' since it's ''veggie'' based. Glad to see this philosophical debate is making its way across the ocean ;)

I love how absolutely kind you are to your fans that approach you at events. Most people in your position just do a “hi thanks for your support” but you always take the time to have a quit chat and compliment them it’s so sweet

I went to Whitby in 2008, 2009, 2014 and 2015. In 2008, I was told it was not as good as it used to be but I loved it. Several nights of clubs, a market, been in a lovely old town. To me, it's changed it's no longer what it was but I am sure you loved it as I did all those years before. Some say your first Whitby is the best. For me it was true. The first two we went to were great and was probably us experiencing the tail end of what the original festival was like. We had a 5 year break (unintentional) and when we returned it just didn't feel that it was exclusively for the Goths anymore. I been accused of 'Gate Keeping' but it's due to the lack of gate keeping and been exclusive to why it's not a Goth event anymore but Joe Public turn up like some annoying, unwanted village drunkard trying to join in at the village fair. I do miss that town but will probably never go when WGW is on.

I am the aforementioned lady in red with the doggo and we'd both like to say thank you so so much! She's my guide dog and led me straight over to severines pram, she loves babies. It was an absolute privilege to meet the three of them 🥰🖤🦇 they're a wonderful family. Absolute future goals.

I was in Whitby earlier this year which was, by pure accident the same weekend as the Goth event.
I had never heard about it before, but took the opportunity to film it. It has proved to be one of my most popular videos.
Everybody looked to be having fun and I think the locals enjoyed it too .. the fish 'n chips shops certaibnly did, judging by the queues.
I'm going again at the end of this month
Another event I want to go to one of these days.

Hi, I do goth weekend and I'm 16 and I love the atmosphere and I always gone to Whitby on holiday but I didn't understand what goth weekend was until I was about 13 and I was in awe with everyone as people were so nice so I said to myself "I found my people and my place" and ever since then I fell in love with being goth and I have done Whitby goth weekend twice and I loved it.
