You know that social media motivation thing makes a lot of sense now. I watched game 6 of 2019 west semis where curry went scoreless against my rockets and I thought we had it in the bag. Dude dropped 33 in the second half to win it and I was in utter shock
Let's not forget Trae Young wouldn't be in the league if Steph hadn't given GMs a reason to believe in him. Future generations will owe him big time because totally honest, Steph has absolutely had the best case scenario career for his starting point!
Steph and Larry Bird share an insane elite level of hand-eye coordination. It's not an obvious athletic gift like height, speed, or vertical leap. People miss the less obvious gift that they have to play the game with pin point precision.
And if you was a 80s baby and a 90s kids you know about bird and Jordan. You know more about Larry Bird than magic Johnson in the 90s as a kid. At least with me
Steph is like those lead anime characters, who's good but not good enough. Not until they undergone a very hard life changing training arc to comeback better and be able shock the giants.

Yeah he does, i hope he sticks with the Warriors for the rest of his career, cause there been rumors saying that he could join the Lakers. I hope he doesn’t leave or request a trade. He’s one of the most loyal players in the league rn.

Looking at social media at halftime is the one that surprised me the most! Now I think I'll have to tweet something mean to him next year when he's having an off night in the first half and see how he responds.
I'm a big fan of Stephen Curry, he's really an amazing player and the best shooter in the league. Ray Allen I would probably say is #1 at shooting. But of all time I definitely have to say Stephen Curry, he shoots threes like it's nothing and it's absolutely amazing. Like how did he do that, my favorite story I seen in this video would have to be that Stephen Curry reads social media for motivation. Will there be another like Steph idk, he's very unique, and there are other great shooters in the league. And before him that can shoot three's, but that's the amazing thing everybody has something special about them that makes them stand out. And for Steph it's his shooting ability from any range.
great for players like most of us lol but from 2015-2019 he had the 5 stars. underated was suppose to star in north amercia last year but with covid cancelled maybe this summer hopefully
The number story showed what professional athletes need to do in order to be great at their craft... and I'm not talking solely about superstars. I talked about every pros!
I don’t get it he’s useless without his teammates it’s a team sport a team effort nobody can’t do it by themselves just because they have the most points every team needs good players since people say Steph Curry is useless without his teammates is he supposed play 1 against 5 a friend of mine said Steph Curry is not the greatest at his position because he never did it by himself does that make sense?
FR, people seem to forget that basketball is a team sport, yet they treat championships like they are individual awards. Shit like that is why we have superteams. Superstars are chasing rings because for their fans that's the only thing that matters. You have people saying that freaking Patrick McCaw is better than Steve Nash because McCaw has 3 rings riding on the bench while Nash has 0 slaving away on a stacked conference.
what an amazing story... thankfully Steph didnt choose the easy road getting to walk on without even trying out for VT. If he had i dont think he would have even gotten to play enough to even showcase just how special he could be. Had that happened there's a good chance he doesnt even make the league because once a coach has put you into a group rarely do they ever admit to being wrong. Playing at Davidson for a coach that did envision his greatness, combined with prob not an overwhelmingly amount of other great teamates at his same position allowed him to play the min & compile the stats that would have been needed for someone his size to get considered as a legit future NBA player. I know the warriors and the Suns both believed he was a star in the making even if the other NBA teams werent sold. I believe the Suns tried to trade Amare for Steph right after he got drafted which says just what they thought he was as Amare avg 25ppg yearly for the Suns at that time.
I mean, a lot of this has to be prefaced by, “He’s the son of a deadeye NBA 3-point specialist.” You can’t be *that* unknown or *that* under the radar when your dad had a 16-year NBA career and had the most points in Charlotte Hornets history.
Will see someone just like curry if not better in 10-20 years when they are old enough to play the game. Granted they might not be as privileged as him they will be close to him skill wise. NBA players are getting better and better as time goes on its only a matter of time.
