- On this episode I will be reacting to Arc 2 of the Clone Wars - Domino Squad.
This is only the first part and not really sure why they put another Arc in between this and part 2, but I am guessing there must be a spoiler if that's the case. Either way I am super excited to watch this episode as I am loving the CW so much!

Domino Squad - arguably the most important clone squad. Remember the names

It is not even arguable. They ARE the clone squad that has the most focus and best character development, besides Rex of course

He is so cool, easily one of my favourite characters so far
The Clones are the heart of this show! Remember Domino squad and their names they will come back later on! Plus also probably the most important Clone to remember is Rex! He was in the first arc that you watched, he has blue armor and a very distinct looking helmet paint. Captain Rex is the highest ranking Clone in Anakin's Clone Legion the 501st, so you will almost always see Rex right by Anakins side. Also you can more easily distinguish which Clone legions or Batallions you are looking at by the color of their armor. The Blue ones as i mentioned are under Anakin and Rex and are the 501st legion. The Orange ones are under Obi Wan and Clone Commander Cody (you will see more of him and also he is the one clone who gave the order to shoot down Obi Wan when they got order 66 in the movie) and are called the 212th Attack Battalion.
Shaak Ti is the same race as Ahsoka (Togruta) so that's what Ahsoka will look like as she gets older
She'll look similar but slightly different.
I thought so when I first saw Shaak Ti :)
The biggest barrier to entry and greatest strength of Clone Wars is that its an anthology with a massive scope, and long term storytelling.
You’ll get to see how many character , including clones, develop and grow, so it is good thar you are bot not to just jumping to specific episodes out of chrono order. Go on the ride with these characters and you’ll be rewarded
Almost no one in the show is a “finished” character, some start good or likeable and end up…less so, others the reverse. The journey is the fun
I am loving the series so far and have only just scratched the surface. I seriously cannot wait to get into the characters and see their development, especially Ashoka :)
12:55 Man I LOVE Blitz, the yellow ARC trooper. The sound of the newly graduated troopers while they march to the ships is so powerful.
Domino Squad and the Clones in general are simply the best story line running through the Clone Wars.

What’s interesting is that this show has been displaying most things all over the world of what we’re taught. How? Like a teacher & student. A parent & a child. Things we take for granted & wasting our opportunity. While adversity in war is a constant it’s the same as meeting A-hole people but they do have good points to an extent. They may not be the nicest but they still have exceptional talent. So… it’s what I hate to admit but they did try to bring the best out of you in many ways you may think it’s not but it is. Could be motivation or a test to how you respond or it could be just a personal thing when Cutup got punched. At least, he showed tenacity even when the going gets rough.
We’re all born different. Some of us aren’t meant to be for certain parts in life, it’s about finding the right one where your strengths & weaknesses fit for that part. That’s why we all need to be well rounded so we can move on & not dwell in our sorrow just cuz we didn’t get our dream goal. There’s more in life than just that 1 career. Always remind yourself to take a step back & look around you. Sometimes, you’re best is enough.
Oh yeah the Clones are amazing just a heads up Season 3 in Animation, lighting, textures, cinematography, and in general visually was a massive improvement over Seasons 1 and 2 so with you watching this in order of timeline you’ll be watching Season 3 episodes back to back with Season 1 and 2 so the quality will be jumping all over the place which can be very shocking at first lol once you get to Season 4 each season improves massively on the visuals and get much darker both visually and in story more mature as well. Season 5 to Season 7 looks amazing with the last 4 episodes of Clone Wars having movie quality animation and storytelling.
Yeah I thought that might be the case but I am just trying to get used to the new characters and trying to remember everyone lol. I have heard that the animation and storytelling just keeps getting better and better...seriously cannot wait :)
Domino Squad are named quite humorously, and quite sadly.
Echo - Named after the fact he keeps repeating orders, and follows every order word for word like and echo.
Fives - CT - 27 5555, because of all the 5's in his name.
Hevy - Hevy is never "truly" explained but I think its because he always wields his heavy weapon, the ZX rotary blaster cannon.
Cutup - Named after the fact he always messes up and is sub par in combat, so he's the "cutup"
Droidbait - Always targeted by the droids during training, so he's the "droid bait"
Sadly Dominos are synonymous with an action, falling one by one.

Which sucks, because I worked a paying job since I was 14 years old. I was 48 when I had to realize that my body just couldn't take it anymore. I'm 54 now. It's not easy, but I look at the bright side: We have a roof over our heads, food for our stomachs, and a solid relationship based on friendship and love. I don't take any of that for granted. I lost my first wife, Rose, to cancer 15 years ago, but she had told me she would send me someone when the time was right. She did, and Katina(my current wife) and I have been married for 10 years now. In all that time since we've been together, we've never had a "fight". If we disagree, we respectfully state our case, and come to some sort of agreement.
I am not quite the "content creator" that you are, but I would definitely wear your merch, and figure out some way to make a video(I do have the hardware and software to do so), displaying said merch. Most of my newer stuff is just gaming, and related to a specific online gaming server I not only play on, but have "Administrative Authority"(basically, I'm a "police officer" of the server). While I love the game, and the community that's built on it, I accepted the responsibility of keeping that server a fun place to play. It's my way of giving back, as that community was very good to me during the darkest time of my life(losing Rose).
So yeah, life is a bit of a struggle, but I'm a Gen-Xer, so I take it all in stride, and just deal with the hand life has dealt me. Life is too short to carry anger and hate with you, and I get a lot of satisfaction interacting with people I can help spread knowledge to, even if it's simply on a form of entertainment we can all enjoy together.
You live on the far side of the planet from me(I'm on the East Coast of the USA), and yet this wonderous technology allows us to be friends, despite that we may never meet in person. I have several friends from your part of the world, and I find that amazing. I talk with TH-camrs from all over the world, and we really aren't all that different. We just want to live a good life, and contribute positively to the world around us. As "Jamel_AKA_Jamal" says, "Just be a good human". It's a good philosophy to live by. (He does reaction videos to music, and has really discovered the kind of "rabbit hole" he's gotten himself into).
It's fun, for me, to see people who've never seen something that I've been familiar with all my life, become exposed to the good things life has to offer, and that I can do my part to support them, and offer a little bit of guidance. It's a joy in life I never saw coming.

This Squad starts and embodies one of the strongest sides of this show: The clones. Jedi and sith and politicians can be very interesting and amazing to watch but the clones are what gives this show a soul! I would even go as far as to say that Captain Rex might become one of your favourite star wars characters of all time, we will get to know him a lot better as we go through the show😌
Yeah the clones are amazing and I do find myself being extremely annoyed when someone does something to get them killed. I really like Rex and I'm in no doubt he will become a favourite of mine

Arriving late at the game. My son who went to see his first SW movie st the ripe old age of 2 weeks (SW OT re release in 1997) and dressed as young Anakin in his first halloween...grew up watchng the Clone Wars cartoons. He has urged me to watch often since Disney opened ots platform I never made it padt the 4 or 5 episode of the first season. He original order is disorienting for me.
But I am watching again following your arcs, well arc 1 so far... yeap. I like it this way better more straightfoward storytelling. I am looking forward to enjoying, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Boba Fett and The Mandalorian with you. Got a new fan you did.
