Its crazy how much manufacturing capabilities have caught up to engineering imagination in the last few years
Manufacturing capabilities? Air powered guns go back to the 1500s.
Getting hobby grade blasters mass produced had never been hampered by a lack of manufacturing capabilities. Manufacturing one of these isn't any more challenging than manufacturing a Longshot. The challenge in getting a blaster like this mass produced is finding the financial backing- ie, getting someone willing to risk the money necessary to set up a company that could sell a blaster like this.
I can already tell that he's happy to not be reviewing N-Series.

Two different companies marketing barely related products for different groups of people. One group is absolutely huge, the other relatively small. Like the number of people who buy a Ford Fiesta compared to the number that buy a Lamborghini Aventador.

I bet that annually, Siren don't sell more than 15% of the number of blasters that Hasbro does. Like many companies who manufacture goods which promise to be the best at incredible prices, there's no guarantee that they'll still be around to support their products a year or two down the line. How many companies have produced good, or even great products, at unbelievable prices... only to either disappear under a mountain of debt, or hike their prices to a more realistic level, whereupon nobody buys them anyway?

Great vids. I think adding a camera close to the targets would help these reviews immensely. The range test targets are way out of focus to see what the darts are actually hitting. Thanks, brother

Would love to see someone try their hand at a Halo assault rifle body kit, mag's in the right place, snub nosed, front grip can be replaced with a chunky pump, flat top gives plenty of space for the riser. The rest comes down to the magazine well area

Hey drac! My only thought on the range is that maybe a second cam in real time that shows where or not where on the targets you're hitting. I thought maybe that would give a better idea of how "accurate" the blasters are.

YES! Please review the Blink, I'm waiting to see how that one performs in several reviews before I order the Maulr and the Blink. I was hoping the N1 dart from Hasbro was a Ultra style dart but Siren beat them to the punch.
Make a scar/bcar for it! At that power, that'd be a nice thing to have.
Safety glasses is a nice touch. Glad they threw them in. Even normal nerf velocity is enough for some eye injury but this kinda power can be outright violent.

I have this blaster on the way to me one of the things I was kind of disappointed in you of you is I wanted to see what it did on normal darts over the chronograph I don't care about the darts that came with I want to know what everybody in the hobby uses as in gen 3 or Gen 2

As far as the range goes I’d like to see reactive targets or lik a tracer on the dart (maybe done in post production) bc we can’t see where the fart goes when you fire it.
Tinker this beauty up. I preordered for price alone. You figure out a way to group those darts tighter, even on the lighter end and I'll upgrade in a heart beat.

I just love that Nerf has remained useless for long enough for some innovative brands to have the space to pop up now.
I'm interested to see if the internals are plastic or not, and whether the fps is coming from heavy springs or plunger tube volume. It's odd that they went for a snub-nose look, because it seems like the blaster is drastically under-barreled. You said it's ~12 inches, right? A lynx firing that hot would likely have a 44cm barrel, minimum.

Looks like a solid blaster , especially for the price. Looks wise , not outstanding for me, looks a little like a large water pistol, but thats not a deal breaker.
Odd that it has no scar and no means to attach one, especially at that power level.

I for sure am gonna pre order this one I've learned to wait and see whats gonna come out instead of buying every new springer primary that drops and never using it cause something like this comes along. Also not a super smart guy and could be wrong but the darts it comes with I wouldn't think would work well with a scar or bcar cause they don't compress like a normal foam dart. Lastly drac firing that thing in the big open warehouse range and what may be an indoor field which is sweet the thing sounds like a 22 with a suppressor which is awesome

what's more fun to use? Maulr or Nexus X Pro? I have the Nexus pro, and it accuracy and power with the stock bcar is insane.

5 years in devellopment, featering some interesting innovations, but failing in basics that are standard these days: Flaired magwel, no barrel add on possible, no piccatini forgrip ( annoying vertical grip), no ajustable stock. No open the damn thing up!
It's too powerful if only there was a way to pull it back a little bit you know like a little button under the barrel...

Get this thing a scar/bcar, maybe some bamboo darts, and it's pretty scary for $40. I do think that, while it's really cool to get performance like this at $40, it really does almost feel overkill? Even on the weakest setting it's got crazy power that could make it too much for certain fields/events. I am curious how the Siren darts do in a more rigorous test vs other half darts, too, in terms of velocity and accuracy. Also interested how the Siren darts might perform in other blasters.

Depends really on what games are available to you or what you prefer.
If you plan on sticking to just park battles with a 150fps cap, or possibly HvZ that generally caps at 130fps max, the Nexus Pro X is more suitable. It would be easier to drop down to lower velocities with a spring swap, has plenty of aftermarket support both within and beyond the foam dart hobby, and comes with plenty of accessories as is with the package.
But if you frequent Ultra-Stock (+200fps) games, or are still at Super-Stock (150-200fps) and is looking to step up in game types, the Maulr is uncontested. Like the Worker Harrier and Seagull, its a user-scaleable platform that has all the features a player in those echelons would really need.
So should i get this or nexus pro x?

Depends what you're doing with the blaster. If you're plinking indoors, both are too powerful. If you're playing with friends casually, both will sting and are more powerful than allowed on most HvZ matches, so also not good choices. If you're target shooting in your backyard, then both would be fine.
For plinking around indoors and casually with friends I'd go for something lower powered like the 40 shot Adventure Force Villainator.

Even the new Pro X blasters from Dart Zone have those warnings, pretty sure they're just for liability protection.
Well that's a bit much for the old 'bedroom hallway Nerf range' --it'd probably knock dents into the drywall and bounce all the way back to me. 🤣
For a blaster that can cover velocities from Super Stock to Ultra Stock with just the flick of a switch, I feel like this warrants its own game style.
Something similar to the Open Division in tactical three-gun shooting, where there are no velocity caps or modification limits. Because this would be absurdly broken in a game with a fixed FPS limit, where this can go up and drop down with no tools or even the need to disaasemble the blaster in some way.

@LordDraconical maybe try to see how silent its possibel to make the nerfgun. maybe measure the Db(-) of each frekvens 36-2000+ Hz and find apropiate materials and structure method to counter the must relevant frequentsis. maybe consider borrowing the measure device from a freind or a company, those often cost about 2.000 dollar
Well not the most powerful blaster the Caliburn says it shoots at 300+ fps which makes it the most powerful blaster I have ever heard of
Merge masters build idea: this thing is the base and parts from the nerf halo rayven rifle all over and the butt pad is augmented with the butt of the praxis stock. Please someone run with this because I’m not up to the task yet

The Greek national team jersey was a nice touch. Too bad we lost at the friendly game with Germany. Team played nice still. These blasters are another good news for the hobby. Lynx was going to be my first 3d printed blaster but Xshot longshot came and covered that need. But I am hopeful for the other Siren blasters offerings as long they cover the international market.
It is already so clunky, you might as well put a 50 dart drum in there! Also, it does kind of look like a fish something about that stock.
I see a lot of fan based imagery sum similarities from previous blasters but who doesn't luv a revival

I guarantee that Nerf N series will have a far bigger audience than this Siren blaster, and will outsell Siren products many times over. Why? Because the "we" you mention don't appear to be remotely representative of the majority of foam flingers. This is probably a great product, but it's aimed at a niche market... a small number of hobbyists who are trying desperately to turn Nerf into less of a "kid's toy", the market where it has always been aimed, and very successfully too.
