Anyway, you brought out the hamon beautifully! It's always challenging to capture it on camera. And that stone-like stuff looks fantastic! I'm looking forward to seeing you succeed with mokume gane, it's something I've never tried myself but heard it can be very tricky! And, oh boy... the buttered toast edit at the end... 👌 chef's kiss.

Time management definitely isn’t my strong suit 😂
This project really showed me why I liked hamons so much in the first place. Definitely will be doing more of those in the future again.
Same goes for mokume gane, that stuff is so cool. I’ll try to do it in my electric furnace the next time. That should be easier but more time consuming.
And I 100% agree with that howlite slab. I’ll buy that again for sure 🙌

I‘ve definitely learned my lesson this year. Won’t be taking on as many contracts in the future. Only having one weekend for this challenge was soulcrushing, especially seeing how cool all your builds are

I had different plans for this build but just couldn't find the time to make "more than a butter knife" so I figured, go with the joke and just make a butter knife 😁

some flux between the layers of that billet would probably be a good idea oxides prevent good welds unless you use a reducing furnace

Nice editing as always. But if you'd turn down the music a bit, the voice overs and other sounds would be much clearer to hear
That’s always a difficult topic. I edit everything with a good headset and mix the audio with that and it’s fine, for me at least.
I’ll try to do some audio test with different devices in the future. What did you watch the video on? That might help me improve it for the future
@@NjordArtisan i watch it on phone without earphone. that might be why i hear the music more maybe idk. i've noticed it in all other videos as well. tho turning that down a bit wouldn't hurt
