Probably one of the best videos to date , absolutely brilliant, you guys should be employed by the Lake District tourist board ❤
Helvellyn next please xx
Thanks very much 😀....now helvellyn...you will have to keep your eyes peeled for that one ...maybe when days are a bit longer
Just wow!! Fabulous film you two! Makes us feel very lazy and we need to get up those fells! Brilliant thankyou so much Tracy please keep em coming! 😄
Thanks Nick 😊 I think we are ready for warm sunshine now 😀
What terrific walk in 'Alpine' conditions and what a day you had for it. Nothing beats walking on the fells in the snow. I always found it a bit of a slog onto Bakestall up the side of Dead Crags at the best of times but what a reward with the views from the top of Skiddaw.
It sure is Graham ....but so worth it for the views , thanks 😊
This was brilliant Tracy did a fab job of documenting this icon of the lakes in winter conditions🏔️ 🥶
Best wishes Simon 🤠👍
Thanks Simon 😊 hope you are well
@@Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild all good thanks Tracy 🙏🏼 thanks for asking 😊👍
Lovely to meet you up top! I'm sure I'm one of the tiny figures in the drone shots. The map geek in me loves the map n scissors time. Thanks for a great video. Keep up the good work 🎉
Thank you Rick , nice to meet you on top too 👍 a cracking day on the hills
Hi Tracey. What a wonderful day, you certainly did get your snow. I noticed Billy is not daft, he let you and Andy do the trailblazing for him! 🤣
Absolutely beautiful scenery and some amazing light on your walk back. As always thank you for sharing your days adventure, all the best, Dave 😀🥾⛰
Thank you Dave 😊 it was a great day ...yeah Billy isn't silly 😜
Winter wonderland in March haha. It looks hard work but absolutely amazing Tracey. A proper adventure 🙂 Thank goodness for longer days after this weekend. We just need some decent weather now ☀ Happy Easter to you all
Happy Easter too Tony ...can't wait for longer days so we can get proper walking in , will miss the snow though
great route, glad ya got to experience the snow before melt... tek care lass, allt best n tha :)
Thanks Dave , it was great to finally get in some deep stuff 👍
Hi Tracey,
I see from the date this was best part of four weeks ago, bet it's changed a bit now. Do you still have snow on the peaks? Definitely gonna look back at all your winter videos and do a hat count. Which do you have the most of hats 👒 or socks 🤔 😜. Guess Billy is light enough not to sink into the snow. I've seen him chase logs, what's he like with snowballs? As usual, fantastic drone shots CO Andy. Lunch at 3.30? What is the world coming to. Think the first time I saw Skiddaw House it had just been renovated, bet it's popular in summer. As for map & scissor ✂️ time perhaps you ought to re-name it map, scissor and finch time 😀 😜 😄.
Cheers
Graham
Haha I do have an obsession with hats , I have recently just bought another 2 😲 we had just had another dumping of snow last Saturday but I think it's mainly gone now ...Still freezing today ...thanks once again Graham , maybe I should get the finches out and let them say hi 👋
Great video Tracey. Thanks for sharing. Views fantastic. Music very relaxing. Say hi to Andy for me. We always watch his videos as well.
ATB to you both and of course Billy. Take care and stay safe.😊
Thanks Yvonne I will say hi to Andy , thanks for all your support to both of us 😀
Great walk this Tracey 😊 nice start & quiet!!!! Route up onto Skiddaw is one of the best ways up & the descent to Skiddaw House is just as good 👍have done this but the opposite way round starting up from Skiddaw House.. .now this hat thing 🤔🤔how many hats between ya both & personally I liked the new hat Andy was sporting 👌 😊 map and scissors time very well done..regards to you, Andy & of course Billy Bob 🐶🐕❤
@davidmarshall5596 thanks David , I have 2 new hats since then haha 😄 thanks very much
@@Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild ya can never have enough Tracey 😆👍
Hi Tracey, really enjoyed the video. I went up Little Man a couple of days before you did this walk so I can relate to the snow!
I hope you don’t mind me asking but I’m trying to get the map that covers the start/finish of your walk (Whitewater Dash etc.) I have the 4 OL maps covering the Lake District but I can’t find the one covering the north Skiddaw area? There must be one because you use it in your video! Any help would be greatly appreciated as I intend to mop up some Wainwright’s in that area when I’m back there in a couple of weeks. Melvyn Holmes.
Hi Melvyn , sorry I just saw your comment ...I'll have a look at my map and let you know what one it is
Hi Tracey, thanks for replying. I have sorted it out now, the problem was that my outdoor leisure maps 4 and 5 are really old and don’t show the area I was looking for (Whitewater Dash etc.) I have now got the OS Explorer maps 4 and 5 which cover the areas I was looking for so all sorted now. I was back in the Lakes a week ago and I did the Bakestall walk you, Andy and Billy Bob did. Really enjoyed the walk although the weather was bad so no views and the ground was really wet. Anyway, thanks for getting back to me. I really enjoy watching your TH-cam videos so keep up the good work as they are brilliant and very inspiring.
@melvynholmes8958 thank you , glad you managed to sort it , shame about the bad weather you had , 10 out of 10 for perseverance
