Custom Ice-Cream Truck build - Hot Wheels. In today's video I wanted to build a cool Hot Wheels Ice Cream Truck. I used some cool colors and some white wall tires to pull off a pretty sweet result. I ended redoing this project a few times but it was all worth it in the end. Check it out!

The green just wasn't cutting it, the turquoise is SO much better. It kinda reminded me of mint chocolate chip ice cream.
We finally get to see the ice cream truck! The blue and pink with the old school wheels and low stance looks awesome! Glad you redid it, the blue is much nicer than the green.
I like how you left in the first rendition. It shows how that things don’t always go as planned and that it’s not bad to go back and restart a project in order to get what you’re picturing. Looks good!
A blue raspberry candy coat over the first green would have looked pretty cool.
Paint looks better matched at the end. Liked the bigger slanted decal for Ruby 2 scoops. Looks like an updated 1970 ice cream truck. 👍🏼

JEEZ DUDE look at that thing! Man you really went the extra mile. It’s great seeing people push through the frustrating builds to get the results they wanted, and it really turned out amazing. Those wheels really tie it all together too the. Pink steelies were the perfect touch!
Awesome as usual but I can't say I wasn't secretly wishing for Big Worms ice cream truck, complete with a tiny bag of chili Fritos!
When you do these ice cream trucks it always reminds me of an old 80s show called 'Misfits of Science'. Love it.

Oh man that gloss !! Love that casting. You can make it anything you want. Shame about those rear doors though. I don't see why they didn't just make it look like a roll up door instead of that split situation. LOVE YOUR WORK !!!!!

The colors definitely flow together on the final version. Looks exactly like what a modern, trendy ice cream truck should look like. As for those rear doors... if there was ever a casting that actually needed updated and a feature removed, it's those doors. They've always looked and fit terribly.
yeah maybe should have made some styrene doors or maybe even another service opening and counter..

That is literally one sweet looking ice cream truck! :) Great work on this and I love the colour choices! :) Adding the figurine was the perfect touch! :)
This one was a nice change! You should work on an other 1:18 car and give it a crazy paintjob. I know that's a lot of work but seeing the details on this van, it could be awesome to see the same kind of details on a bigger car.
When you were mixing I thought damn that looks mint ice cream green. Then you showed it in the cup it looked teal and spraying it looked teal. I'm guessing you showed the second spraying of the truck but then went back to the first attempt you rascal you. This came out looking pretty nice the decals and little figure are great. Those back doors make this casting look bad which sucks is a nice looking cast besides that. I think you'd of been much more satisfied if you would of scratch built better doors for this beauty.

Love it, Buddy! My kid was rolling when you redid it and dropped it, 😂! Pick up trucks always give me hell! Redid one like 6 times cause the paint messed up, or the tape lines weren’t right…man I was so happy when I mailed it off done to its new owner, 😂!
I'd pay $500 bucks for my own Ruby 2 Scoops. It's fantastic, all shades of teal are my favorite colors and the combat medic is one of my favorite castings.

Excellent job, bro! The final product is amazing, with one small exception. Those rear doors just don't look right. The pink is fine, but I would have cut off the stock doors and filled the hole with styrene doors that fit better. Even so, the rest of the truck is so SWEET!
Looks awesome as usual. I like no love the color change. The green color didn’t suit the ice cream truck. The blue color stands out better and it now looks like a proper ice cream truck

Definitely a good call about the color. But even if I liked that old color better, it still was a good call: making a car/ truck look how you want it to look is almost always the better call.
Unless you're painting a car/trick for some one else, then it might not be the better decision. :)
I do really like the final color you chose and it makes the pink bumpers and rims look very good!
Maybe for the fall/Halloween , you could make a scary ice cream truck... much darker colors and creepy signage. :D

For an ice cream truck that is a bit dark I always think that there's more of a pastel
