Beautiful and as mentioned like the way you walk through with it with those spiky shoes. I am learning as would like to do my own floor just a beginner, new hobby as a pensioner so need lots of tips. Really amazing
@mushlim ka father 😎😎 the best I've found to take most of the adhesive off is with a 8in floor scrapper razor, followed by a suitable concrete cleaning solution
I'm mechanical engineer and I already done lots of research on epoxy resin with other materials to enhance the properties accordingly... I'm building my house and planning epoxy flooring and your video is helpful to me ... Thanks
Hey as some one who is considering studying mechanical engineering, I like to ask others about how it’s going for them. Do you enjoy what you’re doing now? Was school tough? Did you work while in school? Any regrets?
extremely effective and I do believe perfect for the house, to have this epoxy slowly, under the influence of home heating it evaporates and the household inhales this vapor...for shop/retail/boutique, caffe bar extra, but at home...
This is quite fascinating, interesting and beautiful! I do not quite understand though, how the special shoes he is wearing did not leave any imprints in wet paint or affect it in any way. Even after directly pouring and walking right on top of it. Can you please explain how this is possible?
PSA- I contacted Legarri products to get more information on costs and materials to do this based on this video, and this was their response over email: "That was and old video and we do not recommend using a dirty or stone pour over on a floor because we have no support or tutorial videos for this type of application. Also another reason because you are dealing with so much epoxy and a stone pour is vary[sic] time sensitive it can flash off on you really fast which means the epoxy will heat up. We only recommend them for countertops because they are a smaller application as compared to a floor."
This is becoming big in the UK, with a lot of guys in the flooring game wanting to jump on this, this is a whole different level of flooring ,these floors are STUNNING.
I need to know what how to get the shine back??? My floor us to look like I was stepping into water. It was so shiny. Do I need to repoura new hardner?
No worries, we have spike shoes on which elevate us above the resin surface so we don’t mess up the design. When we move, the resin then fills in the small pin holes left by the spikes. 😉
It’s art. Thank you for you videos. My daughter has been asking for a room with not carpet. Something similar to this will be great where can I get the materials? Thank you

We don't use torches, our epoxy is formulated so the bubbles rise to the surface and pop on their own. If there are any small bubbles that remain we spray denatured alcohol!
I'm doing a kitchen table dirty pour with very similar colors and color combinations. I'll prime black on MDF, then a clear epoxy coat. Was thinking the copper/aqua combo in a wide strip on the table, then a follow up with a white metallic in the middle of that. Will the isopropyl take the place of the heat gun to pop bubbles? Or should I use the heat gun?
In Cambodia have only Sika brand, and for flooring Sikafloor 161hc is the product to use, i want to ask you if possible to mix paint or any colour to Sikafloor 161hc, would be nice to get some info and help from you as you are a professional, thanks in advance
I wonder if you Install this inside if it would give off a chemical smell throughout the house or not.. I know it's cool for inside garages but I don't sleep in my garage. I remember my folks had that spray installation put up in the attic and it gave the crib a weird smell
The black is our Black WB Primer installed over an existing epoxy floor. leggari.com/product/wb-primer/ It works wonders to prep existing floors for new epoxy installations.
He has on special shoes that has metal spikes on the bottom made to do this kind of job. In the beginning of the video he strapped on metal spiked bottoms on to his sneakers.
Good day! please can anyone tell me the name of the chemicals been used and how can I get them. I want to try it out. Thanks will be expecting your reply guys.

Sand and reapply a new topcoat and it will be brand new again!
How come you can walk over the liquid resin? I'm sorry about my ignorance.. I work with artist resin and I just don't get it!
No worries, we have spike shoes on which elevate us above the resin surface so we don’t mess up the design. When we move, the resin then fills in the small pin holes left by the spikes. 😉
@@LeggariProducts Thank you!! I'd love to do it in my office.. How much product do I need for a 280 sq/ft?
Will the floor surface be even after this
Yes, beautifull but I am wondering about its durability and solidity and maintenance. Is epoxy on the floor a good idea for a family with many kids?
Are you under some sort of impression that epoxy is somehow dangerous?...depends on the resin really but floor coverings should be safe for humans.
Hi, if you have underfloor heating, does that affect the epoxy? With the temp change..?

Floor prep is everything the rest is mix epoxy squeegee and pass a roller over for even application then the flake to your likings then clear on top
Everything in your prep
Great, but what is this liquid that you spray on minute 09:20?
It was Isopropyl alcohol 91% or higher for the dispersing effect!
It looks fantastic!
Thank you!

So how much did that project cost in materials ?
$5 cash, a pair of Jordans, and a lot of 3-layered gum

Great video.
Thanks!
Good job
so beautiful
Thanks! May be I missed info in the beginning of the video, but what is the floor material? Why is black? And why the half of the floor only?
He applied the dirty pour over MDF board and he used a black primer first before applying the epoxy.
Does it support heavy weight? If somethong is dropped, what happens? Does it break?
Dora Valencia It will chip the floor if it’s metal and very heavy but that’s a low chance
Do you pour while the floor is wet
How long do it take to dry
Good day! please can anyone tell me the name of the chemicals been used and how can I get them. I want to try it out. Thanks will be expecting your reply guys.
