Safely storing passphrases can be a challenge. One of my concerns is the possibility of a fire, which could burn down the house with all devices and papers therein. For securing the passphrase I consider storing it as encrypted image on a cloud. Paper copies in a couple of save places are an option too. Alternatively, I may implement the more "paranoid" variant, and keep it on a ultra solid industrial ceramic plate, with laser engraved letters, embedded in a heavy piece of furniture for camouflage and enhanced earthquake resilience. The computer operating the laser engraver should be offline. Finally, and in any case, as you already mentioned, it's wise to train close family members or trustful relatives on how to get access in a worst case scenario.
UTOPIA will be a huge development for ICP - going to be onboarding governments.

4 digit pins to unlock windows 10 pcs seems a bit unsafe to me to unlock nns as there the same. Say you get your pc taken by police and they request the pin then they can unlock your nns then steal your icp?
