MnC at each institute is different. MnC at IIT is more rigid syllabus, has emphasis on FINANCIAL ENGINEERING & SWE jobs . AI & DS is different course in most IITs.
MnC @ IISC is more flexible with computational, mathematical, AI, ML, DS, Quantum Computing, Computational Biology & Finance . You can choose as per your interest .

Mathematical side of computers , that's MnC . Supercomputers & Quantum Computers , AI , ML , DS need deep level pure Mathematics . High frequency Trading companies , need deep Mathematics where they do quantitative analysis of stocks in stock market . Quant Roles are one of the highest paying jobs than FAANG or MAANG companies .
