    Here we go again! Another 1 week of income except this is at my 3rd car wash which I've never shown you all a count before so I'm excited to share this one with you.
    As you all know the self serve car wash business can be an awesome revenue producing business once set up and ran correctly. Its not as easy as investing capital and then forgetting about it simply just going to collect the cash. Well....I've set mine up as good as I can so that thats the case and I'm pretty close to it. But I always like to check things myself to see if theyre working right and manage the car wash correctly.
    Enjoy this video!!
    After working for my Uncle for 2 years at he's car washes I really wanted my own and I came across this car wash. It was completely shutdown for many years so I approached the owner of the land and made a deal with him.
    It took me 6 weeks to bring it back to life and open it and now the customers are starting to pour in. Not to mention I opened it during winter so I am yet. to see its full potential but here's a small taste of how its going so far!

    It's great how much you makes per week. Buts what's your average per week / grand total out of all your car washes. + Minus your chemical cost and runnings costs. Be interesting what your profit will be minus your expenses etc... If you could do a video on that 👍

    Hey keep up the great work I love your videos I can’t stop watching them I had a question for you why do you lease out your car washes why don’t you purchase them from the owner does it make more sense to lease or to own which one works out better in the long run

    • @CarWashChronicles

      No difference in purchasing the business or leasing the business. It’s the land that I’m leasing. I own the car wash business through the lease. If I buy just the business for 100k with a 20 year lease it’s the same thing as just getting a 20 year lease and the car wash for free. Its different if I buy the land then I don’t have a lease because I own it.

      Providing you don’t give any security deposit and get the first few months abated. But usually you’ll need to put in about 20k for minimal renovations depends on how bad it’s condition is

    For any of your car washes, do you own any of the real estate (land or structure)? Do you just operate the washes as a tenant? Sorry if I missed this. Enjoy the videos.

      Yes. I count bills in changer and quarters. I get the token back that they buy so I don’t count the tokens. They’re recycled so once they are done I end up with the $bills and the token they just bought.

    Hey mate, great video! Do you use the tokens to protect against potential theft from staff? For example, if the token total doesn’t match up to the bills in the bill exchanger.
    (Apologies if you’ve already answered this)

    • @CarWashChronicles
      @CarWashChronicles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Pretty much. People less likely to break in. No coin shortage issues and people put in two tokens instead of 8 quarters so more efficient I guess.

    You should only count the coins and bills in the bays, not in the change machine. Never count change machine for income. If someone put a $10 in change machine and only used $6 in tokens and takes $4 home your losing $4 in income that you are saying you made, but are actually over stating your income and hurting yourself. Same in laundromats, you only count the money in the washers and dryers, not in change machine.

    • @CarWashChronicles
      @CarWashChronicles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If people take tokens off premises I actually make money. I pay about 17 cents per token so if someone buys it for $1 and takes them. Good profit margin. I’ll count that for sure
