Step 1) Have an amazingly delicate yet detailed drawing of roses. 2) Have an epic sense of color mastery, somehow only using very light diluted colors but still making it look JUST RIGHT. Beautiful work.

I am obsessed with your work. I have watched all of your videos many times and have tried so many times to paint your roses only with complete failure. I am so happy that you have posted this video I may be able to get just a little better. Thank you! I use Lemon, Cadmium yellow medium, Naples yellow, French vermilion, Quinacridone rose, Ultramarine violet, Cobalt Blue, Indigo, Ceruleum blue. Almost all paints by Russian brand Nevskaya palitra)
