This is so beautiful! As I began watching I kept thinking to myself that the colors appeared muddy; however, when they dried I could see that these were the shadows I was seeing - colors that perfectly balanced the brighter clearer colors that were initially more difficult to see in the beginning stages of the painting. The final result with the balance of light and shadow and contrast was perfect, as were the colors! I will be studying your other videos as well, to help me as I learn watercolor painting. Life would be so dreary without art and flowers - thank God for such beauty, and for you sharing your gift with us!
I love the way you give structure to your painting with your darker tones after the lighter ones, it's quite poetic really... And I also like the way the orangey colours turn to rust and go back to being beacons of light with just some deeper reds applied next to them. It's lovely, thanks!
I really enjoy your paintings..I love the softness and the beautiful colours you choose to use.... Gives it such an ethereal effect....I wish I could paint like this too.... And it doesn't seem easy.... It is time consuming and you know exactly where to add depth and shadow.... Beautiful

Hi Katerina, I want to say, I dont like realistic paintings, Im more into the loose, impressionist style. In spite of that, I find your work absolutely stunning. You are incredibly talented. I wouldnt choose to paint like that, but I can appreciate it nonetheless. Do you ever work on a large scale, e.g. A3, A2 etc?

thank you for your kind words :) I used a large scale before for the oil painting. I believe that for my current technique small formats suits better.
