Meat by products can contain beaks, feet, feathers, euthanized or sick dead animals, carageen thickeners that can cause cancer, high fat that can cause fatty liver, too much phosphates that are bad for kidney disease, high carbs that make them diabetics, on and on.

We have tried and just don’t care for the grain free bars. I suspect kids who aren’t used to things like the clif bars would take to them better. My kids don’t like them (they’re used to the clif bars, oops). They are very crunchy and taste primarily of cinnamon. If I wanted to get my kids to eat them I may melt some dark chocolate and dip them in that. But that’s pretty extra lol. Those graham crackers are amazing though!
I don't even care for them. They are very dry and taste what I believe bird food would taste like. Just being honest! I order Made Good bars and I love Larabars.
My six year old likes them. My main problem is finding ones for schools or camps (where no nuts are allowed). There’s “Made Good” but they’re not as filling and $$$

But as people looking at ingredients, sometimes hard to know if something is terrible/barely disapproved/barely approved/best in class.
