Yes, turning flax into a spinnable linen fiber is a difficult beast of a process. Worth it for the right garments, of course.

I think by now they are not making these cotton linen blends, I hope they bring them back for this summer, I live in a very hot climate and it’s hard to find quality jeans and denim to wear outside,
Loving the BC-01's, the only thing putting me off is the zip fly. Every pair of jeans/chinos I've had with zip fly have had issues with the zip sliding down with wear. Luckily I haven't exposed myself to anyone yet...
Do you fold the zipper back on itself? There are little spikes on the back of the zip pull that should prevent that. Otherwise. A tip from an old girlfriend. Thread a key ring through the zip pull. Zip it up. Hook the key ring over the butting and then close the button. Don’t forget when you go to pee tho 😂
@@CeeAreDee ive actually ended up using the keyring technique on my Edwin SK505S black label jeans (my first selvedge jeans, which I adore) and it works really well.
Another good video. Somewhat off point, but I’d like to see one on the second wash. what are your fade goals/expectations with a second wash? Do you have any?
What do you do with the chain stitch run off? Cut it?
Chinos and jeans are just types of cuts or fits, the materials are interchangeable.
For sure. But I think one fabric lends itself more to one style over the other. It’s why blue jeans are mostly associated with denim and chinos with lighter fabrics.
