Youngmi is doing important job in Korea; however, with her excellent talent, I wished that she could be exposed into internationally as she did before. I believed that she is a best soprano among others in the world. I adore her voice as much as I love Renee Fleming..

@Natarwen she is singing. just at the begining softend it to make the voice more subtle. she is pavarotti winner and studied in Santa Cecilia di Roma. and sang many belcanto operas in Italy and City opera new york. her diction must be ok..
I think she's even better. caballé has an impecable voice, but (i think) not for such role. Her traviata, although, is the almost the best, so so refined
This rendition of this aria was like hearing words called, but not with proper depth, emotion and color. There's a typical technical competence without the presence of the depth of the prayer for peace/death, thus the missing of the emotion. This is not in the top 10 Pace Pace Mio Dio's I've heard! Sorry -- not impressed with this; it's just another voice that has good to great range without much else.
She needs to practice italian. Words are important not just in Verdi's arias. Is she really unterstanding the score ? fatalità ? Interesting voice but there's a lot like Mme Gim...
she studied at Santa Cecilia in Italy for decades starting at age 17 and won Maria Callas competition along with other international vocal competitions in the 80's. I think her Italian might be fine.
