    I bought the iRig Pro to record my guitar on my PC. But, after buying Set List Maker and realizing it can control my MIDI devices I started using the iRig Pro as my MIDI interface. iPad Pro to DOCKteck USB-C. USB to iRig DC in. iRig MIDI out to HeadRush Pedalboard MIDI in. HeadRush MIDI out split to DMX Lighting controller and GR-55. All I have to do is touch the next song in the set list and my Pedalboard patch, DMX light scene and GR-55 patch all change. Brilliant.

    I really enjoyed singing from Ez Voice because I love singing with headset with microphone from Ez Voice and write the lyrics from my tablet.

    Stuff you left out. 1. How do you connect it to the mixing board? 2. Why can't it capture Midi from the USB Cable.

    • @stevenfreeman8828
      @stevenfreeman8828 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      you dont connect it to a mixing board, its for connecting a single phantom powered condenser microphone to mobile devices via the USB port which also explains why it cant simultaneously capture the midi inputs... the usb is being occupied to transfer high quality phantom powered sound

    Would I be able to use this device to connect to an android smart phone or ipad pro (all usb c compatible) to 1) record audio direct into my camera app, and 2) go live on facebook and IG while playing different instruments like my digital keyboards or portable synth? Thanks in advance!

    Great video!
    Question for you...
    Does the iOS recognize the input in apps like TH-cam, or Facebook for live streaming? Or also using apps like FaceTime , or even the regular camera app?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Chris. This is Ron. I am just one of your fans in watching your great videos. So I am in reply about my iRig USB for iPhone Pro 15 with new USB-C connector and that I should email you my setup.
    It seems that the iRig USB doesn't show my instrument input level adjustment. It shows me that it's a mic source. When I created the track, I used guitar as my input. Not a mic input. And it seems to be locked on as automatic. But there is no switch to put it to manual. It should show me that it's a guitar instrument with an input 1 as a channel. I have pics to show you my screen.
    Any ideas? I contacted Apple and there seems to be a problem that was overlooked. If I save it under the old lightening connection it locks that file as in use. They thought it was very strange. It locks up GarageBand. Plain and simple.
    So I'm getting the IRig Prp I/O audio interface. I want to see if that will allow me to adjust the input gain. I did have for a moment an input channel as #1. But I can't duplicate what I did. Every time GarageBand opens, it opens the last project used. And every time I open a new or used project, it automatically saves the current project being used. And that will save experimental use of adding tracks or something else that changed the current project. Why does GarageBand iOS for iPhone Pro 15 automatically open the last project being in use. And why does it save it automatically?
    Please help me.
    Your friend
    Ron

    Christian, I just bought the irig Pro I/o. I’m getting great videos through my iPhone 11 but can’t seem to get audio? The Souce is coming from Roland TD27 drum modular. I can hear my drums and music through headphones plug in to the modular but not through the irig? Any suggestions before I take it back for refund?

    I have an iRig Pro. I play an Indian 'Zitar'
    (electric sitar) When I plug it into my iRig Pro I get a slightly 'fuzzy' sound. When I record into my iPad Pro the 'fuzzy' sound increases. I have tried turning the gain all the was down but the sound is still 'fuzzy'
    When I record just using the iPad microphone there is a clean that is it isn't any fuzzy. I am just an amateur player and not a technician. Any thoughts on what may be causing the 'fuzzy' sound and how to get rid of it ?
    I would like to record into my iPad without any external 'room' noise which means I need to plug it in.

    I have an iRig Pro and an iPad. I play a Zitar (electric sitar) I get a very fuzzy sound when I record using Garage Band and Cubasis.
    I got a clean clear sound in the shop when they played it through a Marshall amp which is what I want. I travel all year round . I need a small protable interface that works. Any thoughts ?

    Hello !! Is the DC In input used to charge the unit while it is in use? Thank you.

    • @marklevy4584
      @marklevy4584 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The iRig device is powered by USB/Lightning interface from the PC, Mac, iPad or iPhone. Since the iPad/iPhone interface is also how it charges, the iRig device will drain your iPad/iPhone battery. However, if you connect the power supply, it will keep from draining the power, and in-fact will act as a charger for you iPad/iPhone.

    • @Allthingsgear
      @Allthingsgear  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      So probably the biggest difference is that the iRig Pro I/O has a mic preamp, and the UA doesn't -- also the iRig Pro I/O has MIDI in and out.
