Top man Ray is I've watched a previous podcast regarding Ray's case. I feel sorry in my heart for what he has had to go through all them years in prison for something he didn't do. And in Rays i you know the man was stitched up big time and he is the most genuine person who has had his life ruined by our shite justice system. Same mate I also seen Ray on Neil's podcast to I wasn't sure if it was on Billy Moore's channel or not. It's a crying shame what Ray has gone through over the years and he is still trying to clear his name. You the old con's saying I didn't do it or I didn't do anything. Well in Ray's case he never did it and you know he has always told the truth the guy is innocent. My old co-defendent from back in 2003 was stitched up with a robbery he genuinely never did. He was given a 6 year sentence for a crime he wasn't even near. You think of all the people who have been found guilty of crimes they never did. It happens and it happens a lot and has done for years and it will always happen it shouldn't in this day and age. The way forensics have advanced over the years. But still innocent people are getting sent away convicted of crimes they never did. Sorry for the long arse message mate take care 👍

Ray feel your story was in Hindley 83 borstal was easy sentence loved the place was on south unit one of top two then home leave food parcels handed in town visits etc just made me a criminal borstal loved it same as Frankland tbh im 56 and been in and out all my life but greatfully seen the light at this stage of life good luck my man stay strong

@@raygilbert9945 thanks Ray Frankland I thought was best jail I've been in and I've been in a few I kept quiet didn't get debts, it's was good alot of good men in there, opened my eyes that place I'm settled now still with same girl from 91 got 6 kids, she's a rare gem, kids are doing good except one who I'm hoping he's changed just got out Thursday holme house all good so far I'm currently only 47.3 bail for suspected flying drone near holme house,56 now don't do nothing except chill, but hay your story man listened to it as have trouble sleeping loads of thing you say from past got me coz been sort of threw it was friends with a lad in Hindley from krocky called knox forget 1st name god kid

I actually live in Liverpool. Came here after a.short prisom.sentence and sent to a bail Hostel called Aderlaide House on Edge Lane. The staff there were worse than the screws.
I recall being sent to Risley remand centre when it still took females.on tje twos Noisy unforgivable place..much prefared HMP styal.
I cant imagine what it must be like doing Bird for somthing i hadnt done. I belive your story..you speak with such conviction..im disgusted by the way you were treated.the racism ect..your a strong character, what doesnt kill you and all that.
You stay fit and well so yoi amd.your lass can enjoy yoir big compensation when yoir proven innocent of this appauling crime..i mean who the police Hell are the police trying to protect?.an informer?.one of there own? The mind boggles.
I lived in Tuebrook when i first got a place.to live after the bail Hostel and Ann Fowlers. I live in Anfield now..as a Bi Racial woman i connected with your story even more so.

Yes I have found happiness. Took a long time were material things are not the answer to being content.
My struggle continues for justice, and I hope a report sometime this month will help get CCRC to look at it again

One of the inmates In the Hull unit who's killed in jail is Fred Lowe
Yes I met Fred whilst at woodhillcsc and got to talk to him in Hull csc. I found him quiet, but someone had to watch out for.
Over the past couple of years I've heard a handful of people that have either getting a life sentence or just ones that have getting big number sentences which I definitely know that this happens as this happened to me in 92 but only for a few months but still ,so I can't imagine how it feels getting a life sentence for something you haven't done

Listen I was charged with murder in 2006, to cut a long story short, my girlfriend jumped 18 floors from my flat balcony whilst I was in bed! The first I knew about it was when the old bill took my door off its hinges ffs!
I was questioned for 3 days & charged with 10 minutes left on the clock!
No forensics, nothing! The cps used the then new "bad character rule", as I got 5 years for making threats to kill in 1995, I did 8 months on remand, it was supposed to be a 6 week murder trial, it started on a Monday & my trial judge kicked it out on the Wednesday!
It's 17 years this month it happened!
It could have gone wrong & I could have still been in jail, the experience was the catalyst to turn my life around! I'm now tea total, don't even smoke! If that isn't a 2nd a chance at life, I don't know what is?!
