- Riot Press Production Last of the Seekers Surge review
Today I take a look at a NEW IP from Riot Press Productions and Ramen Toy.
Last of the Seekers is a Comic and Toy series from Riot Press Comics, Riot Press Production and built by Ramen toy
The crowdfunding project introduces us to a story of a transforming robot archeologist and his journey to discover his purpose.

Clarification: Surge Is a PowerCon exclusive and available at BBTS for $49.
Looks like a 3P Machine Wars Starscream. On the box, there also seems to be 3P G1 Starscream recolour and a few other "homaged" (*ahem*) colour-schemes on the back too...
Hope this available at ShowZ as the American TF online shops' shipping prices are too expensive for some of us elsewhere in the world.
This reminds me of a very early third party figure from like 15 years ago. Looks like something that TFC toys would have put out back in the day
Looks like its a figure that was made 10yrs ago but its a start.
Nice 👍 i can’t wait for my Stealth Seeker 🤩👏👏👍
Once in a while it's refreshing to see a new take on transformers. This mold looks really good, nice deco. Both modes are original, very well done. Great review Kato!
😁✌️
An all original bot? Color me interested. I'd love to have this guy and Steelcore facing off as rivals.
That certainly is what got my attention
This is really the 1st and only review of this.
There's a little salt that these are available before the backers received anything yet and a bit the exclusivity is lost with the availability at BBTS.
I'll be at PowerCon on Saturday and will stop by and say hello.
They aren't "available" yet. Patrick juat asked that I take a look at it before PowerCon.
@KatosKollection ,
I believe some will be for sale at PowerCon.
I'm not angry, just a little bugged. I am not trying to put you on the spot or have you feel a need to defend anyone.
They're learning as this is sorta a 1st time thing. I wished they had found a better way to expand their seekers line.
Really like the look of this. Colors are great
Yeah, that black and green pops
Great review! Seen the display at Joefest and was curious then. This version reminds me of Shattered Glass Jetfire. I like the variety of accessories and the price. This one is $49.00USD. .
This is definitely the one to get, price-wise
Looking forward to this release from Riot Press, very exciting. Hail to the Iron Age!
I agree with you on the light piping, not a fan. That being said for a first run looks good and that alt mode is awesome. Couldn't tell it but are there any the holes 5mm to mount it to a stand?
No 5mm directly near the center, that I recall. There are a few near the nose, though
I didn't think the iron age counted for more than just comics! XD
@@ShatteredGlassUnicron 😁 technically your probably right but the Riot Press Last of the Seekers is a comic book and personally I like to think the Iron Age is more about the rise of independent creators, not so much the medium.
@@thetitan914 Tbh that's a good way to see it, I just never did till now! :P
👋great review - the swords go on the sides of the guns / rockets
Thanks!
no prob 👍
Thanks for the review.
🤜💥🤛
Don't shoot your eye out!
🤣🤣
cool
Indeed
Why not show the transformation?
I don't show transformation often during reviews. I'll likely make a separate video for that. The videos just go for far too long when transformation is included
✌😎
😁✌️
Oh that’s not fair where are mine damit . Lol great review
😁✌️
Surge does seem to be the powercon exclusive. he is also cheaper than the others on bbts.... which is.... weird. honestly i get a little worried Ramen bites off more than they can chew. they always seem like they have so many pans in the fire. every time i turn around they are being inspired by a different IP.
This iron has been in the fire for a while now. This is more of a Riot Press idea with Ramen just building it.
