- The 3rd raw run in the Ascent series! Longboarding down roads like these made me feel like I was back in the Swiss Alps. Hope you guys enjoy!

It's on a pass that has some really hairpin turns, and is sketchy to drive on. Much less long board on. Killer scenery the entire way though, some great hiking, etc. I know since I grew up where this is and have driven it multiple times.

Great to watch Josh Neuman as he flies down the mountains of America and Europe. So much skill and courage required to do this sport. It deserves more recognition, I think they should include it in the X Games. You could have a time trial format and races too.

on the alps he was 110km/h + you have speedmesurer on some old videos, check it up. And if you check sometime you can see ppl checking the road for him ahead. One car is in front, one behind, and ppl on the way to tell it to him/driver behind. Like in wild street racing ;)
I think I went down a small hill for about 10 seconds on my penny then backed out and never skated downhill again. How the hell do u do this wtf
Much better setup and skill. Penny boards are really difficult to ride with even moderate speed so don’t get discouraged. Just get some decent cast reverse kingpin trucks and it’ll feel loads better to get you used to going a bit faster
I mean TBH penny boards are POS. Get a Z Flex if anything.
@@Soil_Bound yeah I know I’m just recommending a small change if he wants to make his board more stable without buying a new deck. I mean in all honesty, I think a dinghy is a much better cruiser deck

These videos are so intense! The control I see in them is just masterful! I just started downhilling again as an old fart of 55. When I was a young fart in the 80's we started bombing hills. I even made my own gloves which had layers of cut PVC pipe bolted to the palms of gloves. It's great having a longboard and pre-made gloves but for the life of me I cannot see the logic in that stance. Yes, I see the "pivot" of the ankles and also the aerodynamics of it, but removing any part of a shoes contact surface from my skateboards grip tape at speed, for me is just counterintuitive.
Go to the neterlands Limburg and do there a raw run
