So I goofed when trying to go lighter to a more dark natural brown like my roots for less maintenance. I didn’t use a filler 🫠 lol the color still looks nice but I do see some muddy spots. (Mind you I kept some highlights in my hair to toned them a bit with some a neutral & ash Redkin toners)… but the low lighted parts could be more rich. Any idea how to fix? Is it too late to add filler and recollect the dark parts of my hair?
That's a tough one. You would have to isolate the ashiest pieces and use a warm toner over them. Otherwise the lighter highlights you left out will go dark.
