Hey, thank you for doing a video like this, even though it is for beginners. Even though I have installed hiveos probably 20 to 25 times, I still have to pull up a tutorial video every single time because I always have a hard time getting my rig.config as well as the operating system installed. 😂

To easily assign a drive letter Win + R, cmd, diskpart, list disk, select disk x (where x is the number of the drive you're interested in), assign, boom you're done.
I tried this off cam and still wasn't working. Was definitely something weird going on because I later reflashed another drive and it popped right up without issues.
At 2:41 you want to select "Connect Existing" This will generate a brand new rig for you. Then if you go into the settings of that rig you can download the rig.conf file and that is what you need to add to your Hive Drive root folder once it is flashed. Let me know if you have any questions!
Once my rig is running can I unplug the SSD and can I also unplug the HDMI to monitor and have it run kind of on its own because I've kind of already tried this and it shut it all off so I'm just wondering if anybody else was able to run the rig without a monitor and also like once you upload the SSD file how come it needs to keep the SSD attached why can't it just run without it
You can unplug the monitor but not the ssd. The ssd is the operating system so you can’t unplug that. Same reason you can unplug your windows drive on your pc.
I can;t make it show up after flashing the SSD. I can see it on Mac, but can't copy anything. Windows keeps showing it as unallocated. Any advise on that?
Nicehash has a high fee to withdraw. Not the normal BTC network fees, but another fee on top of that. It's 0.0001 which is about 7$. So if you make a lot, 7 dollars is nothing. Other wise you can't withdraw daily.
