    Who knew softening kneaded erasers can be so painful 😂
    (Edit:I have been kneading it for the past 29 minutes and it's still very hard 😭)

      Don't give up, you will come to a point that it will soften. Warm it up between your palms or sit on it with paper on either side. or it is is too much, they are not too expensive to purchase another one.

      I wouldn’t waste my money or energy on another Prismacolor kneaded eraser after the pain I went through yesterday! I tried warming it up & kneading it… I worked that thing for over an hour and all it did was hurt my fingers! Nothing kneadable about it!!!
      Faber-Castell, Lyra, & General are all much better and consistent quality compared to Prismacolor.
      Be kinder to yourself and buy a soft kneaded eraser that won’t hurt your fingers! Your hands are your main tools and worth the $1 for a soft & workable kneaded eraser from Fabre-Castell, Lyra, or Generals!

    I find if I put mine in a plastic snack bag, when I'm not using it. It keeps the air and dust from getting to it. It hasn't harden yet (after 3 mos) 😁. Thank you Darryl for all your tips!

      Just keep kneading it. Even if it takes awhile. Warm it up in your hands to soften it. - Darrel :):):)

    (Good tip to replenish Kneaded eraser try this method)
    You can re-soften them as well and bring back the pick up of graphite off the paper by
    masking tape gum that has a light gum glue on the back,
    Or the gum that`s on any sticky label, just dab the kneaded eraser on the sticky part and then massage the gum in,
    If you use to much gum and the kneaded eraser becomes to soft then either add some fresh kneaded eraser to the old stuff or rub a white eraser on paper and add that to your kneaded eraser to ease back on the stickiness.

  • @Roblox_Deku
    @Roblox_Deku ปีที่แล้ว

    It’s really easy to make one too. Just take a tape that’s not very sticky use your hard eraser and knead it on tape then gather the crumps and then knead them together and repeat this and you have your own kneaded eraser
