My Kneaded Eraser Is Bad! What Can I Do About It?

Did you purchase a kneaded eraser that just crumbles & doesn't stretch or knead? YOU AREN'T ALONE! I've heard this for at least 5 years about Prismacolor/Design brand kneaded erasers from you & my students. Take a look at the video to see if your eraser behaves as it should or if it doesn't.
Watch to the end to see the results I got when I contacted the parent company of Prismacolor, Newell Brands. They were awesome and sent 4 replacement erasers for the 3 I purchased, but they still aren't really stretchy and I am guessing if they sit in my supply closet for a year they won't work at all... Still, it was appreciated that they took on replacing their product at their expense.
Unfortunately, today (6/10/22) the Newell Brand/Prismacolor website contact page link is NOT working! I'll include the link in case they fix it. You have to select Prismacolor from the brand drop-down menu and you should get a contact form to fill out.

I suggest every single one of you contact them to protest this poor-performing product if you get one. They don't seem to know how bad it is!
