      Sad times indeed, I'm from NA but I think ever region deserves their own region if they have enough teams. Maybe this doesnt last and things go back?

      Well, I am. CBLOL and LLA will up their game to make it happen

    Feels like CBLOL is gonna be used to find new talents. Brazil it's not a region with money to spend on.

    This is so sad to CBLOL We definitely don't want to join any league,
    We are losing our story to save the audience in a region full of imports with no identity simply because Riot is American and wants to save its baby with our audience, if it were CBLOL needing help this would never happen

    • @combeebrian247
      @combeebrian247 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well 6 of 10 CBLOL teams have 2 imports, not that far off

      @@combeebrian247 Isn't it too far away? How many Americans play the LCS? There aren't even 5 players. 100% of Brazilian teams have more Brazilians than imports, we are not like you, we have an identity, we have a BRAZILIAN LOL LEAGUE and not an IMPORTS LEAGUE with overpriced salaries that caused the crisis in the LCS and now they want to be saved as worms sucking CBLOL and our audience. If you played with American players, you know the level you would have would be pathetic

      Help me understand the outrage.
      The way I see it, you currently have a 10 team, purely Brazilian league that gets 1 seed to the play-ins stages of MSI and Worlds. That means twice a year, 1 of your teams gets 2-3 games of experience against the lowest seeded major region teams.
      After the changes you're still getting your MSI and Worlds seeds guaranteed, and in addition you presumably get to send multiple teams to play Bo5s against the top teams from one of the major regions teams 3 times a year. That's so much more international experience for your players which will help your teams to be more competitive with major regions. The only trade off for all of that is adding 1 LLA team to your league and dropping down from 10 teams to 7 (6 CBLOL teams plus the tier 2 guest team that will almost certainly be a Brazilian org), and you're telling me you're upset about that? I'm so confused.
      As an LEC fan I'd be ecstatic if we got absorbed by the LCK or LPL like that. Getting all that extra experience against eastern teams for multiple LEC teams while still having a reasonable number of teams would be such a big win. How will LEC teams ever catch up to the best teams in the world without playing against them? Wouldn't the same apply to CBLOL catching up to major regions?
      The only angle I see to be upset about this is if LCS teams import all your players, but I'd find it hard to be upset about my favorite players getting paid way more money, so help me out. What am I missing?

      @@VoidHeart56 You don't understand and you will never understand and I can't blame you, we don't care about improving a little if we are to lose cblol, our organizations have been part of our league for many years, they all have their fans, they all have their stories that we only understand each other, we have players on big teams today, who are only in the league because there are teams at the bottom of the table that serve precisely as a gateway for these talents
      we are going to lose 4 teams and it doesn't matter which 4 they are, they will be greatly missed , we are also fully aware that if for some reason any Brazilian team wins the LCS, they will instantly buy the main player of that team and put him to play with two more imports with overpriced salaries like they always did and 1 for 1 our teams will be scrapped and used as spare parts for LCS teams, their money is worth 5 times ours, Riot knows that their golden baby will take advantage, suck and take away everything that cblol has built to date with the money and overpricing that they practice.
      Riot never helped us with anything, we were never a preferred or privileged league, everything that cblol became, it became by the community itself, Brazilians don't care about LCS, we don't want to join them or any league, because we all know that if it were Otherwise they would let us die,
      they paid absurd salaries for years to maintain an artificial level of gameplay without Americans in an American league and now we have to pay this bill? This is not fair to the Brazilian orgs, to the Brazilian academy, after this announcement Pain Gaming has already dismantled an inclusive team that they had on the scene, several unemployment, several orgs that helped CBLOL turn around and beat the number of viewers from major leagues with 500-600k viewers without a shred of help from riot in anything then they, without asking us anything, come and say that we will have to take everything we built ourselves and hand it over to the LCS because they burned money for years ? How would we be happy? Passing a stage in worlds isn't worth all the history we're going to lose by joining an artificial league that, unlike the LEC, the LCS doesn't have talent, just money and ego.
      Riot will exclude the teams that are currently weakest, and 2 years ago Loud, four consecutive cblol champions, was also a weak team, imagine the stories and teams that we will lose, this is CBLOL diff, an organization that is terrible today , tomorrow we could win the title twice in a row, we really don't care about worlds that much, and that's riot's fault for isolating us for years,
      instead of dying we became stronger even though isolated and far from the major leagues with no chance of becoming a strong region, we still survived and now once again LCS is being privileged because they are broken and we don't need it, this change It is exclusively to benefit them
      sorry for my bad english i hope you understand something

      @@frommuspelheim4351 Thank you for the reply. Don't worry about your English, it's quite good. I'm always impressed by people who are multi-lingual, and grateful that so many people are able and willing to communicate with me in my first language.
      Can you tell me more about your animosity toward NA and Riot? When you talk about being isolated, and never getting any help from Riot, it seems like there's some CBLOL/LOL esports history that I don't know about.
      Additionally, CBLOL fans seem more upset about LCS orgs buying players from other regions than I've seen from LEC fans. Has the LCS stolen a lot of CBLOL players? Or is it more about what you've seen LCS teams do to other regions?

    There might be space for this to turn out well, with relegation/promotion to keep it fresh, but unsure how long it will take for the dust to settle with 'lower' leagues and how tournament circuits will work

    There's a theoretical, though highly unlikely, possibility that zero LCS teams make it to any international event next year: CBLOL wins the spot for the first event, the LLA team wins the North to go to MSI , and the LLA team wins the North again and CBLOL takes the other two Worlds spots.

    • @Raxiums

    • @frommuspelheim4351
      @frommuspelheim4351 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      This will never happen, unless the Americans play, but as the LCS is an import league without nationality, this is impossible because they have more money to buy better players from around the world, even if they are natively bad, they will destroy the cblol teams buying your players
