2017 ND Miata Laguna Seca

  • First time bringing my ND1 Miata to Laguna Seca. Those big straights felt like eternities for this poor little car but nonetheless it was a ton of fun.
    Power: Stock ND1 motor with Fab9 N1 tune (~145whp)
    Tires: 245/40/17 Nankang CR-S
    Brake: Stock Brembo with Pagid RST1 front, Pagid RSL29 rear.
    Suspension: Penske 8300 w. 12k/6k springs, Karcept sway bars, camber offset bushings
    Aero: None.
    GPS average: 9.9 Hz

    Great lap! I have my right tires outside the candy strips going into corkscrew and I don’t go as far left on the exist. Not sure which is quicker

      I think going far left on the exit is okay cause you don't need to go all the way to the right entering T9 anyway. I had a faster laptime later on with that car, but it's irrelevant now. I think with the new pavement and my ND2 I can do a 1:42-43. We'll see, hopefully soon.
