As a Brazilian that has been watching you for over 3 years I feel so happy to see you in my country. I hope you enjoy the food, culture and people.
I visited Curitiba recently with my parents to settle some family affairs, and the food was incredible. It completely ruined my standards for food, because now nothing else back home compares 😂😂😂
It's awesooooome to see him here! eu não consegui processar ele andando pela rua tocando Zé Vaqueiro KKKKKKKK
I really want to visit Brazil now, thank you Mikey I’m obsessed!!
I love that no matter where he was, there were people laughing in the background and on the streets! Seems like a lively and nice place!
It is really like that, especially by the beaches. Such a happy beautiful place.
That is the charm of Brazil. Can't wait to get back and I only just returned from there.
The way he kept saying delicioso 😂
And you know what is awesome about Brazil? I was born and raised here, and I've never seen some of the food you got! Because I live in Recife, never been to Rio, so it's a really different culture since it's a ginormous country. Feijoada, caldinho, coxinha, cupim are really common everywhere, but seafood is SO different at north or northeast sides of the country. And special detail to the north region 'cause by itself it's almost a different world. I loooove that you got "buchada", it's really something I'd say that you would LOVE from our food.
I'm in Recife,now.
1:40 YES, my friends. there is a gigantic lux and morgana graffiti on that building. really epic btw
At 16:42, that man is not saying "it will make you strong". He is asking "gostou do forte?" -- literally, "did you like the strong one then?" This implies that he had offered a mild and a strong (spicy) version of the same dish and that Mike had chosen the strong one.
Finally Mike is in Brazil!!!!! Took u so long to come visit us, man!
Hope u had a great time here.
In my humble opinion, I think you should plan a whole full vacation here and try to visit other cities aswell. Our beautiful country is huge and every state has its tradition and different cultures and food.
LESGOOO! Dessa vez foi a nossa vez, Brasil representando
Mikey thank you for bringing happiness and joy. Your optimism is just amazing. ❤❤
about feira de são cristóvão: go during the weekends. in weekdays, it's quite empty and most restaurants won't be open. also, watch out for some vendors there, they can be quite pushy. aside from that, it's my favorite place to eat over here in Rio.
Every time mikey uploads I look forward to hearing his first "UH-Mazing!" And he replaced it with delicioso!! He got it in there towards the middle so I'm complete again
Toaqui assistindo e salivando......
meu amigo vc tá na melhor culinária do mundo chamado Brazil
The city looks beautiful and the food looks amazing and delicious
Muito bom
The Hump Steak(we call it "Cupim") and the rib(costela de chão) are by far the best cuts that you can get in Brazil, there is so many variations of it in all the country. The costela Its my favorite cut in the world
Opinion I guess but for me it’s picanha! The queen of steaks !!
very good welcome to my country
He had a foodranger moment there at 3:30 Woooooow
Nom nom nom nom. Eating vicariously through you. Thanks my fellow New Yorker Mikey, love your channels. 👍❤️🙏🏼
Mikeys been REAL busy unloading lately 👍👍👍💯
My comfort foodie 😊
Food looks amazing.
Feijoada 😍🤤
The gar-leek bread looks amazing
The hagis and the beef and fish look so good
I’m super early and that food looked delicious
Yum, fried gizzards
Mike, the fish gravy you mentioned is called “pirão”, is made of fish stock and flour with condiments
That looks delicious. I want to try it all.
Sejam bem vindos ao Brasil 🇧🇷
Gizzards are so comforting all love from montana!
hump beef is my favorite of them all! it is called cupim
I always love when he’s with new people and you can tell how awesome the atmosphere is. I’d love to try different foods.
In Indonesia we also called pastel, but the inside carrot, potato & egg
In Brazil it can have lots of different fillings
The name and dish are, most likely, from Portuguese heritage
rio looks good!
That’s so cool.
O Brasil ti abraça a todos vocês 🇧🇷🇧🇷
I really glad you tried these many dishs! Brazil has some amazing ones. Hope you can come back to see more of our culture and foods. ^^
Let’s gooooo 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
for those wondering tastes like a tuned up version of oxtail, the cupim (hump)
I always wondered if that was edible, now I know. The breed of cattle preferred in South America, is the Brahman, which has a hump, which would be the roast you had Mike. And, that'll be another addition to my foods to try list. =^.^=
FINALLY you went to Brazil!! ❤
Nuthin like watchin mikey to realize I am in fact not livin my best life 😂 as I eat cottage cheese out of the container and a can of potatoes 😂😊
Aint nothin wrong with that! 😂
@@nixienova 😝😫I wud def prefer Mikey’s cuisine but hey least I got food so I’m grateful 🥰
Nice Art of League of legends showcased on one of the buildings.
Also all these foods look great especially the fried fish definetly doesn't look greasy and suprised to see Guava Ketchup, but I know that Banana ketchup tends to be used as a main ketchup in a few countries.
Always interesting to see what different specialties people can make from different fruits and veggies.
I can't believe you had BUCHADA!!!!! that's my favorite food in the entire world
I've always wanted to go to Rio!
All that looks SO good! Oh, I would eat the heck out of all of that, including their equivalent of haggis. I'll eat most anything once, so why not?
Great vid! What is the place called at 1.47 min ?
Hey Mike. Thanks for sharing the Brazilian way. Alot of different made foods. The gizzards. 😋 I like.. Enjoy!! ❤️🤗🐞
Yummy ❤
1:36 lux and morgana
What was the name of the cured beef and peppers dish?
There's no potato in Coxinha Mike!!
sausage wrapped around breadcrumbs??? lol
Never been to Saudi! Some very interesting dishes!
No potatoes in coxinha.
Cupim, the hump steak, is one of my favorite cuts of meat, my mom makes it so weeeeeell! I miss it
If Romeo and Juliet would taste that they'd be so married
I did not know Calvin Harris but that dish looks amazing I would love to taste that
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️❤️
When will he go to Trinidad! Mind will be blown 🤯
Love your content Mike! Looking good as always 😊😊😊❤❤❤
nice
Wish we could have that kind of foods here in the Philippines. 😊
that guy from saúde bar, looks like a dwarf from lord of the rings
What’s the name of the restaurant with the beef hump? (Didn’t seem like it was listed in the list?) Looks delicious!
man no way you just used the other side of the clam shell just to scoop out the clam. do you just not know how to eat a clam
The best Brazilian foods are in São Paulo and Minas Gerais
Why is everything deep fried in NA these days? :S Not even a thing here in Finland yet lol.
Asè
Delicioso? You know they speak Portugese in Brazil, right?
Same spelling.
Did not know that. I stand corrected.@@blackmantis3130
The spelling is the same, the pronunciation is a bit different. The S has a z sound in this case.
Spoon
Also, those "dumplings" are pastelillos or empanadillas.
In hispanic countries. not in brazil
1:37 oh neat, League mural. CBLOL is massive in Brazil so not suprised a mural would exist there.
❤❤❤
Deliciouso 😊
Dude why are you saying delicioso like you're speaking Italian and and doing the mano a borsa?
Because he isn't from Brazil
Nothing better fast sandwiches Mikey cheers
Only thing I would ate would been the garlic buns 😂
Just had to throw the ooo mommy in there.
What sup with the pinky thing while holding the sandwich?
Umani in brazil really??
Hello 👍
16:34 YOu love organs? But you won't eat filipino digunuan blood stew? They put pork, hog maw, tripe and sometimes intestines. It's southern US cooking filipino style.
👍
@10:43 that's what she said xp
1:37 is that Lux and Morgana ?
I hope you come to Argentina! Delicious steak, empanadas, medialunas, pizza and much more waiting for you.
"guaba" = goiaba
always eat the bunda
DELISCIOSO!!!
Best neighborhood, in the world? That's a laughable claim. European countries have far safer & greater small neighborhoods to live 10x better than any neighborhood in Brazil.
It could be the best neighborhood to live in, in all of Brazil. But definitely not "the world."
Not in his opinion 😅
You boil your gizzards first to make them tender.
I swear Mike is Peruvian or has ancestors in Peru.
1st again ❤
U’re not first and u never will be
Nope. You're 3rd
First
Nope. You're 2nd
