Hi po. Just to correct one info po- Geely's mild-hybrid system can propel the car with solely the electric motor in the following conditions- the driving mode is "Eco" and your speed is below 20KPH. Geely's mild-hybrid system actually has 2 electric motors- a smaller one that helps charge the battery and starting the engine, and a bigger motor that provides help the ICE in high speed and ascension likewise propel the car when running below 20KPH and set in "Eco" mode.
You can actually do power fold manually on the side mirror. Just turn the knob towards up or north then it'll automaticall closed your side mirrors.
Quality is there, kahit bugbog sa lubak never nagka issue suspension ng okavango. No other issues as well for 3 yrs. As for parts availability, nag uumpisa na mag stock ang planta nila dito though may parts na import to order pa rin. PMS is affordable unlike toyota, nissan, ford, etc. 20k kms pms - 9k lang. 30k kms pms 13k lang. Sa big brands nasa 20k to 30k ang ganyang pms.
Tama ito bka hindi pa lang nadidiscover ni Sir ung function ng pagclose ng side mirror using thr knob. Also correct me if Im wrong hindi din mabbuksan ung back door or any door ng naka lock ng umaandar ang kotse at the certain speed unlike ng ginwa ni Sir na nka D mode pero nka stop ang car.
Nice review hehe, just like to correct 9:16 reg folding the miirrors, you can actually fold the mirror by rotating the mirror dial to 12 : 00. I guess 9/10 or 10/10 na? haha!

Nice yung features. Dun na lang talaga magkakatalo sa after sales service. Bago pa lang kasi sa Pinas kaya medyo observe muna ako. Yung Subaro nga, ang tagal na dito sa Pilipinas pero medyo mabagal pa rin sa after sales service. Inaabot ng 6 months yung replacement parts bago dumating. Kaya balik uli ako sa Toyota. 😁
Ganitong vlog ang magandang pagka explain lahat ng features kong paano gamitin.
Pls po. If bibili kayo ng sasakyan. Read nyo mo po yung manual. Tapos isipin nyo po muna yung budget for maintenance, parking fee pag mall, budget for gas na 5-10k month. Bag kaya ng sweldo nyo yan don lang kayo bumili. Lalona sa gas yung iba bibili ng sasakyan pero nag hahanap ng murang gas station at kulang sa octane yung pinapagas kaya wala pang 1yr sira na ang fuel pump at yung engine. Tapos mag comment na sirain daw yung sasakyan. Mag aral din ng basic car maintenance.
Ikot nyo sir ung side mirror adjusting knob pa 90 degrees para tumiklop ung side mirror hehe
4 years na ang Geely sa pinas (under Sojitz Management) curious ako kung gaano karami yung first Coolray adopters na hindi nagka problema sa spare parts availability or customer service. Gusto ko talaga yung mga ganito na maganda interior, malakas ang power ng makina, at maraming tech futures. Parang di nakakasawa kaagad o gugustuhin na ipahatak kasi nandun na lahat ng features na gusto mo at masarap pa i-drive.
So far meron na 100k ang natakbo/mileage na geely e walang major issues. Parts are still abysmal pero improving na dahil may mga NON casa na nagtitinda/nag iimport ng parts

Yes, walang problem sa akyatan. It's 7 seater, but I was able to put 7 Adults and 2 kids.. Walang issue.. Malakas ang Makina.. By the way, its in Samar, mas matarik pa ang daan compared to Baguio..
yes sir its a 190 hp 300nm torque combined ICE and Electric motor , 177HP sa gas enging and 13hp sa electric motor. Kaya pag naka sports mode sya combined power.
ok sana sya kaso lang ang main concern ko dito yung after service ni Geely same with other Chinese brand cars, yung support after 1 to 2yrs ang kalaban mo dito. Bukod sa matagal maayos yung car mo, yung presyo ng repair at part medyo mahal kahit na made in China which alam mo na dapat mura yung mga replacement parts.
Ganyan din sir sa Known brand pag CASA services lang nakaasa. Matagal kasi ang parts movement sa CASA. maraming documentation at approval. Kahit nasa planta/warehouse na hindi agad marelease ang parts. After 5 years pa talaga babaha ang parts nyan kasi under warranty mga CARS e. Hindi sila basta makabili sa labas ng spares kasi may chance mawala ang warranty. Pero marami na rin mga store ang nagiimport ng China cars parts. Mahirap talaga i compare kay Toyota kasi tambak na surplus parts dito satin ng toyota lalo pat gamitin sa Taxi at PUVs.

At wala tumatagal na sasakyan kung hindi ninyo na seservice Like change oil ng makina at gear at nasa nag drive yan iba kasi feeling fast and furious at sobra modification ang ginanawa nila kaya nasisira mga sasakyan.
What are the cons and pros of 3-cylinders vs 4-cylinders engine?
Cons ng 3 cylinder is idle vibration. Its pros is smaller engine, lighter engine, generally mas fuel efficient.

@@spike286 Obviously its a WAIT and SEE as of now kasi karerelease lang few years ago. Pero 4 years coolray with 100K mileage is still fine. At kita naman sa BUILDs na hindi basta basta. I can confidently say na MAS matibay yan sa mga gawang Indonesia at India. PArts availability nalang ang kulang and i would say its Equal or better than TOYOTA and HONDA.

Actually, sa Middle East matagal na ang Geely. According to my sources, wala daw problem sa durability.. Mine is 2.5 years na, pero walang problem. After madaan sa maraming Lubak at matinding akyatan etc, ok na ok pa din..

Well.. durable ba tlga? dito sa pinas. hindi na proven and tested bata pa sa mkt, pero subukan nyo po sa UAE doon lowest rate of problematic cars and Geely at cherry. :3

Reliable? Or kwento Kwento lang? Yung Honda ko, wala pang Isang taon, tumirik na..Brand new Yan ha.. Hindi Naman Ako barubal mag drive, at Hindi nagskip Ng PMS..

We own a 10 yr old toyota vios. And it never gave us any headaches at all. It still runs like a 3 yr old car. Tho we really do take its maintenance seriously and specially pay attention to the gas we put in it. And our relatives in d us and canada told me ppl there think highly of japanese cars more than euro ones.

As always Chinese brand is wear and tear, daming negative comments niyan, not unlike s mga old brands like Toyota, Mazda,Honda ford , those are trusted walang sakit sa ulo bat ka p mag rerisk ..?
So you mean yung mga old Brands na nabanggit mo ay walang 'Wear & Tear' at sakit sa ulo? And you are not taking Risk at these? Sa Philippines lang Naman bago ang Geely. But for other places like Middle East, it is a well established already. The Durability has been proven also.
marami din kaya sa JDM , marami lng silang parts pero it doesnt mean hindi nasisira. I beleive oo matibay sila 10 years ago kasi they were designed to last that time. Ngayon even na playing fields pare pareho na rin madali masira.
Meron ako nissan before nagamit ko ng 10 year ibinenta kuna bumili ako ng geely okavango Wow ang laki ng difference sa Technology advance talaga sya kumpara sa mga Japanese car 2 year kuna ginagamit ang okavango ko at naka 50th kilometro na ako so far so good may 5 year na free service ang sasakyan dahil naka promo sila noon bumili ako. Sa mga geely haters dyan Try ninyo baka magustuhan ninyo performance.

agree 90 years na toyota so madami na talaga parts , this brand is just 4 years old dito sa pinas. So will see parin. Imagine kung naka 15 years na sila dito.
Hi sir, ask ko lang po ung nakuha namin okavango 7 days old palang,pag nasa traffic naka apak ung preno namamatay makina at pag gagas pedal kuna mararamdaman kuna aandar ung engine sa loob ng sasakyan tas may vibrate sya tapos mejo may kadyut ung arangkada pag inapakan ang gas pedal,ganyan ba talaga sya?kase di ako nag testdrive bago bumili.thank u

6:52 mabuti pag may features nyan Start/stop matibay ang starter nyan mayat-maya pinapa start ang enginre.
Off topic Yun Navara namin meron din airvents sa midle ang kaso wala ako maramdaman blower meron lang sobrang hina naman sama meron din control na blower na low , mid, high.
wala po kasi syang conventional starter , Belt Starter Generator sya, parang starter and alternator in one package. Belt driven po nagpapatakbo ng engine nya using the 48Volts lithium ion battery sa likod. Then yung 12v na battery pang accessories lang like mga ilaw.
ngayon ko napag icp mas maganda pala china brands kumapra sa japan na lowtech napag iwanan ni kopong kopong. JDM parts lang naman ang panapat nyan. kaya madaming parts kasi sirain din. nga pla japanese rin ang sasakyan ko.

@@bzip3713 i know na need mo lang naman pamaintain sa Casa kasi covered pa siya nang 3 years warranty,if ever magkadiperensiya at Casa maintained siya liable pa din ang company na palitan ang Car pero once na nagpamaintenance ka outside Casa at nasira ang Car,it is your own liability..but now lagpas naman na nang 3 years ang Car ko at wala naman naging big trouble,kahit Talyer na ako nagpapa maintenance..

And was informed na nagkakaron na banawe, ang importante dumami yung models nya which is happening naman for geely. Law of supply and demand.

For my Experience, I have no issue so far..
Nope hindi exempted sa coding yan as per Geely representative.
Chinese cars focus more on high tech applications but not on engine durability..let us see after 5 years..
3cyl with lithium ion para makuha yung 1.5hp power and torque for 7seater and weight to power ratio.. not good at all.. thats why they gave it for 5yrs warranty, marketing strategy para makapasok sa market.. but sorry, not a good design na pangmatagalan and not cost effective in repair..
Masira lang lithium ion battery, hindi na aandar ang sasakyan.. costly pa ang lithium kasi wala naman mfg plant sa pinas..
Unlike design of ertiga hybrid.. masira lithium battery aandar pa rin parang normal car na walang tulong nang lithium.. optional nalang..
China car sya pero American Engineers yung mga gumagawa :)

No problems here, 2+ yrs daily driver ng Okavango. Wag po tayong masyadong judgemental kung wala namang personal experience.

utot may kotse ka ba? lahat ng brands may pangit at maganda. yung sa Honda namin binentahan kmai ng CPU di pala iyon nag sira, 3 bwan inayos, yung sa mitsubishi namin, sabi CPU rin daw sira ng montero namin, refresh lang pala, yung sa okavango namin, kulang amg infos nila.
pero lumipat kami sa ibang mga casa, lahat sila maayos naman at nasa standards. Newbie ka ba sa car ownership?

You need all those features to keep you entertained while waiting for the tow truck. 😂Hondas and Toyotas are way better build quality-wise. And don’t get me started on the Volvo partnership. Volvos are good, way better than BMW and Mercedes, but its not as good as a Lexus.
Builtwise? Like the plastic materials in the interior of the more expensive Japanese cars? For the price range, it's not even close. Find a car with the same price range and have better materials than Geely. That is if you ever ridden one.
And who's exempted from towing? I find your comment too shallow.

Typical auto hater. If not for Geely/Chinese cars, Toyota sensing and Honda sensing will always remain on 3Million cars. Competition is GREAT! If Okavango is manufactured by Toyota for sure it would be priced 2.5M++. Just Take a look at their Zenix (innova) Priced 2M but the SEATS alone is garbage. Low quality fake leather with low quality stitching. And dont even knock those plastic interiors and coke in can roofs and you will be highly disappointed (or not coz you praise everything toyota gives you even if it is shit already)
