Ill tell you what, I'm a guitarist and I learned this song tonight in less than 5 minutes including the solo and this is literally the most perfect song I ever heard, sends chills
The best live act since the Beatles, or maybe Muse, sublime. I can’t taste the citrus sucking sunshine in their music when it comes alive like this. Incredibly insanely in tune to my ears it’s almost like the magic of hearing the sea through a sea shell. I distant echo of Pink Floyd in Pompeii, pure soul majestic
This video was published on my birthdate, plus anyone thinking of seeing Foals preform....DO IT! its amazing! I recently saw them and it was a great experience, definitely worth attending
Compared to Antidotes, sure they sound quite simple now but calling it pop rock is far from it. Their latest album; What Went Down has its math rock moments. A Knife in the Ocean is the perfect example. In fact, the whole album itself is far from pop rock. I've been a follower since 2009, so I know what I am talking about.
Lorenzo Lyle Abadia : hey hey look, Antidotes is not the first album. You should listen to these album 'Try this on your piano 7" Single (2006)' 'Dearth / A Song for You / The Chronic (2008)' and you know what Yannis and Jack are came from the same math rock band called 'The Edmund Fitzgerald' finally you will know what i trying to say about they have changes too much of the genre of their music.
+Lorenzo A Knife in the ocean is 4/4 the whole way through. It's definately not Math Rock, and the album isn't particularly heavy outside the title track. I don't think Pop Rock is a label Foals should be ashamed of though.
Alisson Becker: goalkeeper by day, vocalist at night
Arif Utama Diego Costa: Striker by day, vocalist at night
aja o un Diego Costa
lol
He looks more like salah.
I've always said salah, aiden turner and yannis could pass as being brothers

YES YES YES ACCURATE
The person crying at 1:35 is so relatable when it comes to this song, and adds so much intensity to an already unbelievably intense performance.
No crying
absolute tune this, one of those tunes that just builds and explodes
+Noire I see you everywhere
AfonOer must both have a sick music taste x
Yes we must
it is brilliantly done, even though their live performance is a bit weak. But the studio recorded one is an absolute banger
What Went Down is another level compared to this! Excellent tune still all the same! Rock N Roll
Ill tell you what, I'm a guitarist and I learned this song tonight in less than 5 minutes including the solo and this is literally the most perfect song I ever heard, sends chills
+chris kilty No it is really easy to play haha, 5 minutes sounds a bit extreme though
Possibly the best song written by anyone in the last 15 years
This was fucking intense. So glad I've finally seen them live!
Man, the ending totally kicked ass in true Foals fashion!
I’ve always loved this track. The lyrics are incredible & very relatable to me at times..
Pure genius 🙏🏼

obviously something was lost in translation here.
In whole album, and btw, if you have a good acoustic you can hear an extra effect on drums in every song, this effect is amazing!
Jack Bevan is the only person I'd put on parallel to Matthew J Helders The Third atm
Matthew Helders is god

Foals should’ve been on the main stage but with bands like Mumford and sons and Metallica headlining, in 2015… you quickly realise why they are not.
yannis philippakis
drummer doesn’t seem happy to be there
he is, trust me
these guys changes too much. Math rock to pop rock :(
