I know exactly what you're talking about. The last time I saw Foals was probably the most mental live performance I've ever been to. When you're in the middle of the crowd, it's an almost out-of-body experience. These lads are brilliant.
Cleary never listened to mike portnoy, joey jordison, jimmy 'the rev' Sullivan, Tomas haake or mike mangini. Those are just a few drummer of actual pure class and talent be it speed ability or technical ability or just the feel for the drums. The drummer in this band is an average drummer nothing very special
A little more chill than the later versions but at the same time it has this crazy other worldly feel that makes listening to foals live one of the most amazing things there is
Thats the correct word. Their music and in particular this song feels otherworldly. Just a top notch alt rock song. This is how a rock concert should be and sound. Otherworldly. I used to think they are just evergy and screams when they play but now I realize Foals is focused energy. They turn rock into a weapon. And thats why they sound like this.
I was at the side of the fence near the security people, there was this blonde guy behind me and he started to make sure I didn't fall during Foals, Chase and Status and Eminem. It was madness up there, but totally worth going to. I now have new favourite bands and I was completely drenched with water :3
As incredible as they were, these guys deserved a late night set. Maybe headlining NME Stage, with that many strobes, a crowd as good as R&L and songs like Providence, Two Steps Twice & Inhaler, would be mental.
leif podhajsky's work . check out the studio shots at flood and moulders" battery(on the studio website) ", they wanted a zen energy for recording //a spiritual vibe.
God, I thought they were one of those bands that sound completely different live than to the CD and that they would suck live (they use too much effects on their instruments), but I guess they're waaay cooler live, apologize.
Holy fuck! This makes me feel 20 again. Like the chocolate chip ecstasy wafers we used to take in Nola in the late 90's ... I feel alive again! How can some bands just have that effect on you?
A song truly ahead of its time, I hear them copying this now, like the Amazons, or I should say influenced by it. Either way this song was definitely underrated!
My display picture isn't me its a musician/celeb lol. Fair input but I wasn't expecting it as it was my first experience at Reading, I felt it was unnecessary but whatever I enjoyed the majority of it.
I was at leeds at the front for Foals. All the Eminem bitches hogging the front waiting for him had to be pulled out over the barriers cos they couldn't hack the craziness in the crowd, I nearly died, It was awesome.
Their drummer is SICK
you clearly don't recognize good drummer
How can you say he ain't a good drummer?
Mr Spewkey Name 5 good drummers you know to compare, what you call a good drummer
MRfsher dude, he's just saying he's a tight drummer that contributes a healthy backbone to the song. Why is everyone on youtube such a comment dick
Dougie Chalmers Exactly. Couldn't have put it any better myself.
That intro from the drum is god-like
ага, также интересно звучит как intro третьей композиции на Silent Alarm
Bass you can hear what a rarity these days live
Their Bass Player!!!! He's so fucking amazing!!
I noticed that too, that guy is a real talent.
@@alienatedworker yeah. why, any idea?
I think he has a kid and wants to focus his time on that.
@santiagoflorentin3668 hes back!!
Jack Bevan is such an underrated drummer!! Great performance by all.
Foals are just so awesome live. If you see them live listening to the studio tracks will bore you after, trust me
It happened to me ): saw them live 3 months ago, the studio tracks are not enough anymore
they are definitely my favorite band to see live! can't wait for their new tour
I know exactly what you're talking about. The last time I saw Foals was probably the most mental live performance I've ever been to. When you're in the middle of the crowd, it's an almost out-of-body experience. These lads are brilliant.
+Delilah Taylor agreed!
I disagree i think they are horrible live. Inhaler is my favorite song but studio version is better
5:00 totally orgasmic, I wish they included this part on the album version too
0:25, a drummer of pure class.
its really nothing man.. just a regular drum fill
It may be easy to do but the sound as whole that he creates is incredible.
It is a regular drum fill, doesn't mean it's not incredible though...
Exactly. He is an amazing drummer....

These guys literally and ingeniously crafted eccentric rock/dance rock
"SPAY!!!"
6 years of this! I remember that song like it was yesterday, miss those days.
I love the Jack's enthusiasm when playing the drum lick in the beginning of the song.
I wasn't a big fan of this band. But then I heard them live....
Same here, they played in my hometown Medellín, and it was fantastic
Same
The guy humping the piano at 2:38 hahahahaha! 😂 I live the foals!

Just saw these guys live in Chicago last week, absolutely incredible!

The guitar in foals live performances are subliminal!
They are honestly so good live i can't get over it!!!
God damn such a tight band
5:02 good god above
no god
Wish they were headlining Coachella this year 2022.
I was at the side of the fence near the security people, there was this blonde guy behind me and he started to make sure I didn't fall during Foals, Chase and Status and Eminem. 2:25 - I love this moment.
Life goal to just drum for them, even for one song.
The drummer is siiiiiiick
Zoe Illingworth of course not... is a regular drummer...
As incredible as they were, these guys deserved a late night set. Maybe headlining NME Stage, with that many strobes, a crowd as good as R&L and songs like Providence, Two Steps Twice & Inhaler, would be mental.
these were amazing at leeds, God i miss leeds
damns das a lot of hipsters
Looks like a lot of people enjoying themselves to me, maybe you’re the hipster
leif podhajsky's work . check out the studio shots at flood and moulders" battery(on the studio website) ", they wanted a zen energy for recording //a spiritual vibe.

MASTERPIECE. MASTERPIECE. MASTERPIECE
They rock.
Amazing!!! Greetings from Russia!)

Seeing them at leeds tommorow, cant wait!
I agree! i cut my leg when everyone fell over at the front, its such a mood kill when people ruin it for people like you and I.
Let´s DANCE PEOPLE. Life is a beautifull thing ;)
INCREIBLEEEE!!
wow, love it!!
getting almost killed at the front was so worth it! miss it already
i was there and they were fucking awesome!fell deeply in love with them...
One of the best pits of Leeds was defo during inhaler !! Looks sick here too
God, I thought they were one of those bands that sound completely different live than to the CD and that they would suck live (they use too much effects on their instruments), but I guess they're waaay cooler live, apologize.
Does anyone else noticed the amazing Buda wallpaper?
👍 Dope music & great video
legendary
damn this was awesome live!!
Je vous aime!
da gusto ver buenos bateristas
Holy fuck! This makes me feel 20 again. Like the chocolate chip ecstasy wafers we used to take in Nola in the late 90's ... I feel alive again! How can some bands just have that effect on you?
Top of their game
such a good vibe :)
Energy!
Awesome
WOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!
A song truly ahead of its time, I hear them copying this now, like the Amazons, or I should say influenced by it. Either way this song was definitely underrated!
yes Emmanuel, kinda like the feeling you got from RATM years back.
It was painful to watch all the slim shadys at the front just stand there bored when Yannis came out to the crowd. It was an incredible set.
So close to Yamis, he is amazing!
00:42 Switzerland here we are !
Beyond Indie
Right said!
Yiannis is a dead ringer for a friend of mine, visually and vocally.
when i heard this song i though it was filter new song jejejej
for Allen's sake, this was amazing
This is better than the album version !
Anybody know what inspired the backdrop? I know it's in the Holy Fire booklet, but aside from that.
i like this,,,,,
My display picture isn't me its a musician/celeb lol. Fair input but I wasn't expecting it as it was my first experience at Reading, I felt it was unnecessary but whatever I enjoyed the majority of it.

FOALS FOREVER this is so fuckin cool
Foals....Come to India !! :)
MachineGun Joe I wish 😐 We never get good artists here
Man I'm sure they were equally good ,you're right people get way too hung up about which one they go to !
alisson becker has a nice voice
The moshpits in this Foals set were mental, but so worth it - fucking touched Yannis (y).
He played it fine if you're talking about the triplet fill
amazing, atmosphere looks mental, but uhh why won't Yannis pronounce the whole word 'space'
SPAYYYYY
I'm Yannis Philippakis and I'm here to remind you to get you pet SPAAAAAAYYYYYY or neutered
He rhymes it with away.
does anybody know when they come to austria again?
Meanwhile I was dying on the outskirts of two massive moshpits
I NEED HIS SHIRT WHERE CAN I GET HIS SHIRT
They were great, but the crowd was way too mellow. Foals crowds are so much crazier at indoor venues.
Me and my cheeky smoke bomb 0:30
Does anyone know what shirt he is wearing?
👑👑👑
The pidgeon neck is funny
