    Great video. Always look forward to your vlogs. Great outfits and different style. You look great in jeans and the tops you made look very good with those. Lots of outfits. You suit many styles which is fantastic. I made the simple sew cocoon dress recently and boy was that. A mistake. Just not for me but it looks great on you. Take care and relax on your week. Pamper yourself. X

      Thank you so much Jan. Sorry you didn't like the Cocoon Dress, maybe it's just a style you don't like! There's always another pattern, that's what I say haha x

    Oh your makes are gorgeous!!! I love your fabric choices each more beautiful than the last😍. Btw I made the Vogue wrap dress and it happened the same, it stretched out in the bodice, I think it's because the skirt weights a lot.

    • @Jessalli
      @Jessalli  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aww thank you so much Marta! And yes I think you're right about the skirt. Bit of re-sewing to do. x

    Love your videos. I’ve only been sewing a few months and am dying to make linen garments. Would you make a video talking about how to handle linen fabrics for those of us that are terrified of taking the first step, please? 😊

    Oh Sophia I love that denim top, the orange top and the Seren dress actually I love everything that you made the dresses look so cute on you. BTW did finally start to knit then found out that I was doing it all wrong, luckily I was only knitting a scarf. However am also trying to make some socks using alpaca wool only thing is using the 3 DPN's is tricky. Does your mum or gran make socks using this method?

    • @Jessalli
      @Jessalli  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My nan makes a lot of socks and she either makes them on DPN's, or for simpler styles circular needles. I'm not good at technical knits like that! Hope it hasn't put you off! Thanks for your kind comments. x

    • @Angela10226
      @Angela10226 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Jessalli No it hasn't put me off just need to keep in mind that I am working in actuality with 4 needles because of the working needle. That's ok we are not on a race to learn new skills are we? You're such a lucky girl to have been brought up around such creativity. Of course you had to be creative!!

    Lovely to see you again, such an inspiration. Have you thought about getting a digital finger row counter, I always used to forget to count, but that thing on your finger kind of helps, or get the knitting counting app free from the App Store. well done for keeping on with it. Have a go at some simple socks, sock knitting rocks.
    thanks for the videos huge hugs from sussex xxx

    Any chance you could link the knitting pattern. I LOVE that sweater and haven’t been able to find a decent one to buy and I was thinking maybe I should knit one instead.

    Hello lovely....thank you for this video. I have a house in Lisbon and was wondering if you would recommend some fabric stores there where I can purchase some goodies....:)

    • @Jessalli
      @Jessalli  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have to be honest, I don't remember the names. I just used my google maps to find them near me whilst walking around the city. xx

  • @mellibee100
    @mellibee100 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ok - so I just received my gorgeous Rico yarn, started knitting right away - but the pattern doesn’t seem to add up! If I follow the instructions the sweater is mainly knit in reverse stocking stitch which makes it look like it is knit in garter stitch! But the picture on the pattern doesn’t reflect that, nor does yours! Did you find that as well?

    • @Jessalli
      @Jessalli  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So the beginning and end of the front and back has the different stitch to make a neckband and hem. Does that make more sense? x

      JessalliHandmade yes - thank you ;)

    Where did you find fabric shops in Lisbon? I was there on holiday now and hardly found a thing. There are better fabric shops in Porto.

    • @marieomara8025
      @marieomara8025 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tracy the only one I know is Feira dos Tecidos in baixa or there are a couple in Campo de Ourique other than that it appears sparse

    • @Jessalli
      @Jessalli  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for late reply, I can't remember where any of them were, but I used google maps as I walked around the city and just popped into some that came up. One was a beautiful tiny shop on two floors with traditional wooden button drawers and haberdashery cabinets. I was in heaven! x

    Be careful about hanging tat gorgeous sweater on a hanger because you run the danger of distorting the shoulder with the shape of the hanger. For this reason I usually keep mine folded in a drawer.
