sr for the mouse-clicking sound, i have a habit of highlighting the text when im reading something.
I really want to get into deeper topics but right now i just gonna try to focus on my writing skill which is still horrible.
    Thanks for watching!

this is relatable and i really like the ending: let the heart set the goal, let the mind clear the path. thank you for this video

I love the sentiment of following both paths. It is crucial to trust in yourself to make the best decision based on what you know. One must promise themselves that no matter what they choose, they will choose to not regret it.

I think this quote is sort of related to the topic:
"The issue every patient faces is: can he trust his feelings to guide his behavior or must these feelings be suppressed in favor of a rational approach? By their very nature, feelings have an irrational quality- which doesn't mean, however, that they are necessarily inappropriate or irrelevant. The irrational stems from sources in the personality that lie deeper than the roots of reason. The irrational is always opposed to the reasonable because the irrational speaks for the body, while the reasonable speaks for society."
"Were the baby to suppress its crying or its desire, mother could describe it as a reasonable and good child. The psychiatrist, however, would recognize the beginning of an emotional problem.
The person who rejects the irrational negates the infant within him. He has learned, unfortunately, that it's no use crying, mother never comes anyway! He makes few demands on life because he has been taught early that his demands were unreasonable. He doesn't become angry because anger had always provoked retaliation. He has become a “reasonable man,” but in the process he has lost the motivation of pleasure and the aliveness of his body."
But there's also some nuance here, you may not be able to distinguish true self emotions from stuff like anxiety that is learned and will keep you down if you follow it. Good video tho, I agree with the conclusion.

I’ve been feeling this way for a while. Although Stoics would choose to make everything indifferent so you can be unhindered from the external, I always feel like giving into the randomness of life and my impulsive nature would be a better way to live so I can experience the full range of emotions

Follow both, but dedicate yourself to neither.
There is merit to each, but ultimately, the separate choices made by each can never be perfect, nor will one made by both.
The [Perfect] is never applicable to the [Flawed], and as we humans are flawed in our ways, we can never achieve perfection.
Remember, we only think the grass on other side is greener because we personally experience this side.
At least, if we made a choice with both in consideration, we at least knew that we did put our “all” into it.
I loved the vid. Keep it up.

Correct! There are no perfect options. Each option we make requires us to sacrifice mutiple things in our life, even things that we aren’t even aware of them. There are always consequences in everything, either bad or good.
      Thanks for the support!

An advice i always give for any situation is to know yourself. Understanding your inner world would be a big help further in your life.
For me, i spend a lot of time in solitude and study philosophy, sometimes neurology and psychology to understand this “self” i have.
Its a long journey, but it is extremely rewarding! Good luck out there.
