Moved to Watford City 7 years ago from Texas...during COVID, there was no other place I would want to be with my family than here. Everyone helps each other, crime is very low, no gangs, no graffiti, no homeless and kids can run around and play outside safely. Heavy traffic is three plus cars at the stop sign on Main Street. Just a wonderful place to live and raise a family.

I wonder if gig work is decent out there i do instacart and uber right now. I'm colorado thinking about moving up there while trying to get a job in the oil industry. I have my CDL and can't find work with no experience.
I moved to North Dakota in 1999. And the Watford City I knew then was very different from the city you are showing now. I got the chance to document its growing pains for my own small town. For almost 2 decades I've lived in a small town in SW North Dakota and, while we've had growth, I'm glad we didn't see the massive changes that Watford City saw. You're fortunate to come to Watford City after a lot of the awful stuff is over and they've learned how to grow in a healthy way. My own town took a lot of lessons away from that in case we ever face those kinds of changes. Who knows, if we do face those changes, I might be calling you to be my realtor!
I'm not an expert on anything relating to waste disposal. A Google search shows that there are some kinds of radioactive materials involved in the production of Oil & Gas - but I don't know the extent to which its an issue. The search results I found were all North Dakota government sites.

Not easy! We have another client who is moving from Belgium - but they are starting a business in the US and are investing a substantial sum in order to secure what’s called an E2 visa. I’m not an immigration expert, but that is an option if you are wanting to live in the US and have the necessary capital and business acumen to start a business in the US.
Most people move here to work in the oilfield because they pay more here than anywhere in the country. They pay that way because the winters are absolutely miserable, -30 and worse at times. other than that the place is great. I dont even lock my doors here.
@@issenvan1050because the oil wells are outside of city limits. The thing this guy did not make a video on the oil field but on the town of watford city. I assure you if you drive ten minute in any direction you will see wells. Plus most are off the beaten path too.
There mostly aren’t any in the city… majority of the oil wells are in the county in “middle of nowhere” areas up to a 3-4 hour drive each way from Williston or Watford City.
Not currently in the plans. Tioga is quite small. If you’re interested in investing in Tioga - we can setup a meeting and one of our teams Realtors can lead and guide you to some options!
Worked in New Town. Been to Watford City many times. I know there's a lot of oilfield and workers from all over showing up. You mentioned the children a lot. Is there a good system in place that tracks sexual convicted people?

I moved to Williston from Austin, Texas over 2 years ago. I had to get away from the heat.

Wow it’s so much different from California . There’s so much open space , and the lots are huge. Looks like a peaceful place to retire.
My hometown
It's a beautiful place to life

My son and his family are moving to Watford to pastor a church.
Stay here for work often. Nice place.
Do you guys offer property management?
Moved here from jamaica, going to a university nearby. Leaving soon nothing much going on tbh.
What are the school ratings, and are there daycares available?
Hi Shelby. Please reach out by call or text to get in touch.
Would love to move there from the UK but what are the rules - because obviously I wouldn’t have citizenship?
