Never done a remote podcast before. But now I have the proper tools to get it going. Lets make this happen! Thanks Omar. Your videos are always inspiring.
finally entering into the video podcast game after a year of audio only! 1. do people not need headphones anymore to stop the feedback? 2. a I'll be interviewing non-podcasters - is there mic (from headphones or phone) that people can plug in to guarantee better sound quality? Or can the computer mic still give off a studio quality?
I found the Samson mic through an older video of yours and funnily I ended up using Streamyard too! I have been using both for over an year and it's been awesome!
Man, I’ve been interviewed on streamyard 4 or 5 times now. Haven’t actually tried running my own live or recorded broadcast on it yet. Might need to finally do that. 👍👍
This was great Omar! I love Streamyard. I've been able to record 5 podcast episodes this month and I used Streamyard for all of them. I like to record it in Streamyard and then edit the full interview and premiere it on TH-cam. Then, I cut up the clips and make shorter videos and clips for Shorts, TikToks and Reels.
So, I want to do a video podcast but I’ve been overthinking the whole thing tbh. My main questions are: 1- Can my podcast just be recorded on my phone? I kinda feel like it may not be a podcast if I don’t have the mic or the headphones and such but I can’t afford them right now so I wanted to know. 2-Can it be live or recorded or it doesn’t matter? Is this just my preference? Any help would be much appreciated! :)
Thanks. This software seems great. You said you can download the individual videos as well, but I'm not seeing that. I can only download the one video we recorded
No mention of editing videos with cutting out bloopers or adding text fade in and fade out. You know ....all the useful stuff that make this video useful instead of wasting our time.
I do screen recording with a virtual background using zoom due to my limited studio space. I need to step up my quality. I use a zv1 for recording so my camera is decent and yetti . I do screen sharing of my information. What do you recommend as an upgrade for a beginner over zoom. Thanks
Wow so helpful. Thank you thank you thank you. I just started my podcast this year. I wanted to do a guest episode. But wasn’t able to get the audio. So thank you so much for th tips and the equipment suggestions!

whew, that was fast!! What about placement of the participant video screens (cropping and placing), and what if I have a ready-to-go video intro and outro file to put on the beginning and end? Thanks!!
Can you use a SM7B with Streamyard? I’ve tried to do a pre-recorded video on Streamyard but after 5-6 minutes, the audio starts popping like crazy! I wonder if it’s because I have to use a USB mic as opposed to an XLR
Hi I am digging these tutorials because I have to learn to podcast quickly. However, I'm a little confused: so Should I record the remote interview podcast with Streamyard THEN upload that into Podcastle for processing and distribution? DO I need both or can I use one or the other for both recording and post production/distribution?
Sometimes I have to use Zoom if that's what the publicist is using. Do you have advice on where logo on the screen for branding? And should I put the name of the guest and my name under our squares? Zoom leaves black bars at the top and bottom so I've got some space to add things.
Thanks so much for this! Been looking to find the right tools and equipment to get my remote podcast going! A few questions I had -- As you alternate between the different camera angles/options that will be recorded as the podcast is recorded live correct? What is the alternative option if you choose to have only side by side of the host/guest... would you have to take all the individual video files and edit them to your liking in post prod? Thanks 🙏😄
Hey.. Thanks for the top tips. If I'm interviewing someone can they use a smart phone instead of a camera/pc? I'm going to be interviewing everyday people who wouldn't have a mic or cameras set up.. Tia
That looks really cool but is there a way for me to do this without paying for that stream yard service like can I buy something like a stream deck with that work?
Glad I found you! I have a question: my sister and I want to shoot you tube and Instagram. We want to build Lego together, but from two separate locations and put it all into one video. Following your tutorial, I can see what it would look like in TH-cam. But how would this translate over to Instagram?
Hi Omar...hey man. Great video! I've been looking for an alternative to Zoom that looks better for recording interviews. I think Streamyard may be the way to go. Thank you also for your suggestions about a good mic and camera. Very helpful. Awesome! You're the man! Looking forward to checking our your other videos. Thanks again.
Great info!! I keep hearing other TH-camrs mention Streamyard and have often meant to look into it. Now, I will for sure. I am wondering if you have tips on recording a video podcast where the host and the guest are in the same room. Specifically with audio. I can record 2 separate files no problem, but there is massive echo from being able to hear each other in each respective audio file.
$50 a month for the feature to use 1080p is a pretty steep bill if you ask me. You'd think in 2024 we'd have better options, that ought to be a given in this age. We aren't in 4G anymore. I don't get why 1080p is so hard to produce.
What if your recording "In studio" using streamyard? Can this be done if your guest is there with you or will the mics pic up both guest when they talk?
at 2:09 the footage of the girl in the teal and yellow outfit .. thats my stock footage =) thanks for purchasing it!
Never done a remote podcast before. But now I have the proper tools to get it going. Lets make this happen! Thanks Omar. Your videos are always inspiring.
If you’re interviewing people remotely who don’t have their own podcast/ proper equipment on their end, how do you get that amazing final product?
You don't lol. You can only work with what they've got. Maybe some post processing could help, but no guarantees.

I am having a remote podcast today. Recording the first episode in the next 1 hour and this pops up 😂😂😂

@@abigailpicard8079 nice recording ☺️

Samson 9QU is legit. Has been my main mic since I picked it up about 8 months ago. Great stuff as always Omar.

yea i like streamyard, but its still not high quality. It speeds up your workflow but you sacrifice quality.
Love streamyard, I use it for my Amazon live streams with a fellow creator from Australia, makes things so easy! 👍

Do you have to use a USB Mic to record on Streamyard? Can you use an Analog mic?
Thanks for the video. Are apple airpod pros quality good enough for podcasting?
I did a comparison of streamyard free version in 720 and the results were not as good as zoom on their free version using a sony camera and yeti mic
Thanks. This software seems great. You said you can download the individual videos as well, but I'm not seeing that. I can only download the one video we recorded
Interesting topic, I've been waiting for this. You're the best out there Think Media, thank you 🙂

so after you record with streamyard, what hosting platform do you use to distribute your podcast?

Thank you bc Zoom’s audio recording is not optimal, and it seems like it makes the video quality not great either when I upload.
How do I use the streaming service while also using my phone as a camera?
